You haven't been watching baseball for very long if that was the worst you've seen. Not to suggest he looked good. The mayhem began with a weak dribbler the third baseman couldn't rush in to get.

I agree I think i remember a guy can't think who it wss gave up 10 earned without getting anyone out.

That could have been the worst performance by a starting pitcher I have ever seen.  How can he be this bad?  The guy was basically un-hittable last year.

Certainly one of the worst ever by a recent Cy Young award winner.

Yeah, because he’s never been a complete and total fall on his face bust in any given season himself. ✌️

I paused the Yankees game while CC was warming up, then showered and did various things around my place. I had it paused for a while. I began to watch the game, while fast forwarding in between pitches, and I didn't make it out of the first inning. The Yankees' half of the 1st was so long I ran out of DV-R slack.

Methinks he is a good buy-low. Unlike mostly everyone else here, I am not his owner this year. I have plenty of other players to fill the aggravation void on my team.

@MINN, TX, NYY again.... there's a chance that the market hasn't bottomed out yet.

I think that was an Oakland pitcher.  Or maybe it was that Nats pitcher against the Brewers

He has turned into a streamer.

I knew he would regress but never thought it would be this extent.  We all probably overpaid for him.

Two hits isn’t exactly getting blown up

He have up 4 bb( I don’t say walks because they don’t walk to first ) that’s really what did him in.

The only good news is that he probably has some mechanical issue causing control problems that might be able to be fixed.

He's owned them this season, up until today of course.  Granted that was without a lot of their lineup, but still, I believe any so called elite pitcher like him should be able to be used against anybody.

Not much that can be done with him other than hold.  You can try to sell, but honestly there's little point in selling him for what will likely be virtually nothing.  I couldn't believe what I saw after I got out of work though...

It was pretty awful.

We will see. Talent level hasn't changed.

He's either hurt or just having a tremendously bad run of random luck.

Or he was in fact recovering from the night before in which case he starts no more AM outings for me.

I don't know. WTF ya gonna do at this point other than ride the ride.

I mean, I guess jumping out the window like that one animated gif is an option, but there's no good option right now unless you somehow get somebody willing to give you even a Top 30 SP at this point.  I don't see it, so like I also said a little while ago, there's no good option other than just keep him at hope for the best.

Hmmm, are you sure *he* allowed all 6 to score?  Because only 3 had scored when he was pulled.

Read the sentence again.  It's missing a comma, but it's accurate.  All 6 base runners he allowed, scored.

Yes, I'm sure that all 6 base runners he allowed did score.

Sorry, read your sentence differently than you allowed ;)
