Batting .238 over his last 30 games.

With just a 19.8% K rate, 13.5% BB rate, .233 BABIP, .866 OPS, and still has 8 HR, 22 R, and 18 RBI.

So insert eye roll meme here

Simply stating a fact. Yelich is running away with the MVP.

I was just stating facts as well... And Yelich has been using a walker with his back issues recently, so I would hardly say he’s running away with anything.

At this point, he could be sidelined for a couple weeks and still have it all but wrapped up. Bellinger has been fantastic this season, but he's a step or two behind Yelich. It's unreal.

If Acuna gets to 40-40 and the Brewers miss the playoffs, it's going to be him.

“Running away with”? Lol. Doesn’t the whole season count? Doesn’t defense count?

bWAR-

Bellinger- 7.6

Yelich- 6.0

fWAR-

Bellinger- 6.3

Yelich- 6.4

And he hit HR #39 tonight.

Like I posted... His BA has been low over the past month but it’s all because of bad BABIP luck. All his peripherals and counting stats have still been good to great.

4 HR’s in his last 5 games but the MVP award has already been given to Yelich, per a source in this thread. A real shame.

Man this guy almost played for the wooden bat college league where I worked. If only he hadn’t signed after being drafted lol. It’s gonna be a close race. Bellinger is the superior defender which may be the tiebreaker.

Making this even more impressive is the fact that the way the Dodgers treated him against lefties last year would have stunted almost anyone else's growth. Beast.

His adjustments and the addition of Robert Van Scoyoc (JD Martinez’s hitting guru) as the team’s hitting coach have taken his game to another level.
