Josh Gordon 2019 Outlook

Actually had fewer yards than his team had points by more than half... no mean feat.

Gonna have to bench until the Pats play a team that can score against them.

We will cross that bridge when we get to it. As a moderately reasonable Pats fan though, this is looking like the best team I’ve ever seen

Patriots have a joke schedule as per usual. Not a lot of those matchups.

It’s not the Pats fault the rest of the AFC can’t get their s--- together.

If the Josh Allen slot machine lands on jackpot a few times in a game they’ll be hard for anyone to beat.

He looked pretty bad vs NE in their last meeting iirc.

Targets are there. Was held on one play too.

Yup.  He had 5 targets to AB getting 8.  Not the worst split.

Ugly, but on the bright side Gordon was the 2nd highest targeted player with 5 behind AB's 8. Even Edelman only had 4 targets. Brady just only 28 passes and he was looking hard for AB early. Pats went on several long scoring drives and were killing clock most of the time. 33 carries. Plus the defense scored 2 TDs.

Not panicking yet, but may bench him next week.

Officially concerned. What are the chances the Kraft comes to his senses and kicks AB out for not being forthcoming about the civil lawsuit? Probably zero, the man is no pillar of society himself.

Does AB hurt Gordon or Edelman more? Or both?

this guy has been memed to relevancy by the internet. when are we gonna accept that he's just an upside WR3 and start treating him like one?

Back into my lineup he goes, not just because I love how confident he is here but also because my WRs are dropping like flies

Uh, it kind of is. If you are a high level free agent, having to face the Pats to make the SB is a definite consideration.

It is fair to think that the reason the AFC east sucks is because they are in a perpetual rebuild mode to try and beat the Pats/prepare for post-Brady life. But neither of those 2 things have happened after like 20 years. The Steelers clearly haven't found an answer despite having absolutely loaded offenses. Maybe the Chiefs will reach the tipping point of being an offense so good that a defense isn't necessary.

Fantasy aside Im just happy for this kid to get another shot at life. He looks like a good kid who just had some demons. He’s easy to root for and look very humble.
