New England Patriots 2019 Outlook

Recommended Posts

The Patriots DST is going to be a league winner.

Miami and the Jets with a 7th round pick for QB and the Bills are in their division.

They also play the Giants, Redskins and for some reason the Bengals.

The Pats always have an easier schedule than most but this is ludicrous.

The chemistry on the team is in balance, and the Patriots are on cruise control.   What I cannot understand is how division has not come up with any way to beat them in over a decade.    Highly amusing.

Brady is already fighting father time though, so my guess is this team will turn into a more run-centric team as the season goes on.  That said, the defense looks better than it has in years, so this team is obviously a SB contender.

FB James Devlin has been put on IR.

Any Pats fans have an opinion on Jakob Johnson?  (The other fullback).

He hasn’t really even played yet. He was off the practice squad.

Watson due back in another week. So my guess is they look for another tight end for depth. Go to two tight end sets or extra wideouts with single back most of the time. This might mean more snaps for White and Burkhead as opposed to Michel.

They are currently the second highest scoring player/d in my league. And the schedule continues to be cupcakes. I would try to seriously trade for them anywhere I can

Currently (std scoring) outscoring all WRs, all RBs except the white buffalo, and all but four QBs. Absolute cheat code.

Playoff schedule is Cincinnati and Buffalo... They're going to win some people their leagues this year.

Lots of leagues start week 14 and they play KC. TDs are fluky anyhow. They wont be this fantasy good all season.

Through four weeks, they've somehow scored more TD's than my QB in two of my three leagues (thanks Cam!)

I'm the commissioner of a league where I set up the schedule so that I play the worst team in the league every week.

My team name is New England Patriots.

Any leads on who they are signing? Could be a solid pick up.

Here are some (uninspiring) free agent vets and their respective career FG%:

Cody Parkey: 83.9
Blair Walsh: 82.4
Sebastian Janikowski: 80.4
Phil Dawson: 83.8
Mike Nugent: 81.4
Chandler Catanzaro: 83.8
Kai Forbath: 85.7

Not really any exciting pickups
