Miguel Amaya went 4/5 with 3 doubles tonight.

Think you made a mistake here. MiLB doesn't show these stats.

I did.  It was Cub roster fodder Gioskar Amaya who went 4/5, sorry about that.

I'm beating the Alexander Canario drum right now...the rookie league does not seem to be challenging him at all.

last night: 2 for 5 with another HR, which makes 6 HR in his last 6 games.

On the short sample size season:  8 games, 13 for 34, 7K/2BB, 6 HR, with a .382/.432/1.029 slash

Any potential for a 2019 call up with him?

Unlikely, they're probably the worst team to be on for a pitcher in AA trying to get a shot this year. He may get a very small taste in September. Teheran/Soroka/Kuechel/Fried/Wilson currently with Gausman, Wright, Touki, Gohara, and Allard all having MLB experience if there's a need. A few more 2 K/9 games could change that though.

Makes sense. I think Folty likely has the first shot at earning his spot back as well.
