Anyone worth grabbing this week? I had to get at least one share of Christian Walker. Had a big HR total in the minors and with Jake Lamb on the DL this is his chance to shine and so far he looks good.

Some podcast guy said he is hitting the ball harder.  But also, not to put too much stock into it.

The guy is STILL 29, amazingly. Something odd must have happened behind the scenes. Maybe he used PEDs earlier and then stopped once he got paid. Or, maybe he's battled depression or was drinking too much or stuck in a terrible, soul draining relationship. And mayb he's out of that situation now.

This is the sort of guy where, if you heard he got lasik or something, he'd be pretty pumped up. But one of the other things above, we probably wouldn't hear about.

I'm bidding on him in a deeper format, though I have other people above him.

Do yourself a favor and stream Derek Holland today. Over/Under is only 7.5 and the line/betting trends are telling me San Fran should win this game. You're welcome.

Matt Boyd    IP.     K.    W.      ERA.      WHIP

                     17.   29.    1.      2.60.       1.15

If you watch him pitch you will see a huge different.

Still only owned in 44% of ESPN leagues.

I remember early last year he had some games where he looked like he might have turned the corner. His ERA was under 3 early in the year, he was pitching into the 6-7th inning and he was striking out 6-7 batters.

Then he started a fade and finished the season 9-13 with a 4.30 ERA. So I'm watching him with interest. But I'm still on the fence.

FWIW Heyward's HR lastnight was hit into 20mph winds if I'm not mistaking.
