Eovaldi....whir

Throwing a gem this evening. Fluke or does this get him going? Currently a FA in my league. Could drop Mahle for him.

Fluke. I would pick him up and play him on good matchups only.

I think he will get better (stronger) as season goes on, you want him for the second half

Jump on him if he has two good starts in a row

I'm sure it does a little something to right the ship, but I think he's shown us quite a few times, he can toss a game like tonight then throw a big dud. He's got decent stuff and very high velocity, when he's on he's darn good.

As a Sox fan I'm really not sure what to expect as a starter ROS, I feel like it will be a mixed bag of results with some ups and downs. If he can keep his control tight, I think he could have a good deal of success. I might pick him over Mahle who I'm not convinced will keep pitching as good as he has. Or if you think he'll hang in FAs, wait to see what he does his next start first.

Look at his average game logs - then look at his average game logs against NYY.  First time ever I think I dropped a player AFTER an improving, and more impressive start
