This kills his fanstay value for RoS then right?

Mostly...8-10 weeks puts him back in early-to-mid September. And when he does return, who knows if he’ll be able to pick up where he left off.

The hits keep coming for us Angels fans.

Injuries are part of the game and he'll be back come playoff time.  He had such a tremendous first half helping when Ohtani and Upton were out.

Tough break for the All-Star. Thanks for serving us 'owners' well, Tommy!

Rough week for Anaheim.

One of the toughest drops to decide. Recovery window puts his return right when fantasy playoffs start.

Right you are sir!

So basic redraft leagues, an easy drop?

Have to agree.   Even if he is able to return in early September you would have to factor in a rehab assignment and then take another couple weeks to get back into a rhythm again even after returning.....and by then the season's over.

He's a safe drop in redraft leagues. It was fun while it lasted, gents.

Too bad.  He was starting to look like a possible keeper in keeper leagues.  This injury throws a lot off.

Im not a LaStella owner but this is a kick in the groin as a baseball fan. Its been a good story and just before the ASG.

In the end I was right, he did get Jermaine Dye'd. 😟

I thought the first thing they do with this is get x-rays and confirm no break?

Plus it’s hard to rehab unless one or two of your minor league teams are in playoffs since their regular seasons end early September. And with the Angels being long out of it by then they might take the conservative shutdown approach.

Redrafts are going to be interesting next season for him.  What round does everyone think he goes?
