Awesome that he is back...but why the hell is he hitting 7th!?

Good point. just because he tweaked something doesn't mean they should drop him down in the lineup.

They didn’t drop him. He’s been there every time they have their full lineup.

Remember when this kid was hitting in the .260's and people were talking about demoting him because he clearly didn't have what it took?  Pepperidge Farms remembers....

It seems like this kid gets a counting stat every game.

Reminds me a lot of Anthony Rendon. Kid is a pure hitter

Similar.  But, I think Keston has a little more pop.

Hitting 5th. Shaw at 1B. This seems to be the lineup people thought should happen 2 months ago.

Meh. Grandal hitting 3rd with a .259 average doesn’t do it for me. I’d like to see:

Cain

Yelich

Hiura

Moustakas

Braun

Grandal

Thames/Shaw

Arcia

Pitcher

This guys 162 game pace is approx:

40 HR, 95 RBI, 24 SB, while hitting .329/.393/.612

Once he moves up in the lineup for good, my god.

I am getting a Dustin Pedroia vibe.

Where does he go in redrafts next season assuming he maintains close to this level of production?

Soto went 30th this season and even with some regression Hiura is outpacing Soto's rookie season. If he maintains close to this level of production a top 30 pick seems like a sure bet.

He has got a lot more power than Pedroia ever had.

I am afraid to buy him, cause I don't want to jinx him and he turns into A Riley. I bought Riley then he dropped off the cliff. I so scared

Hiura is a MUCH better hitter than Riley. His plate discipline isn't very good (yet), but Riley's is atrocious.
