Darvish looks like a new Yu. He's not trying to throw 98+ every pitch.

Anyone know what happened to Brett anderson?

Brett Anderson was pulled from Monday's start versus the Indians with an apparent neck injury.

Anderson had to duck to avoid a bat in the fifth inning and seemed to injure his neck. He initially remained in the game but was eventually lifted in the sixth. The lefty allowed just one run over 5 1/3 innings before departing. The A's should have more on his status after the game.

Cub fans gave Arrieta a nice ovation when he came to bat. Arrieta actually tipped his batting helmet to the crowd.

man i was a big Happ defender when yanks signed him.  but you can no longer blame this on cold weather/april rust.  its end of may and 80 degrees

So glad the Phillies weren't able to sign him - he is bad.

There's been a Tyler Clippard sighting in Cleveland.

Treinen in for a 4 out save.

Roberto Perez missed back to back pop ups. He wasn't close on either one. Clippard gives up 2 on a Matt Chapman HR.

Minor 9 ks through 5 scoreless, he's been impressive all year.

He's been nails.

Got a little BABIPd in the 6th, but to finish with the QS, 2 ER, and 11 Ks is damn solid.

The great thing about having Happ in your starting lineup on a Monday (in a weekly lineup) is that at least you can just set your computer aside for the week and know that you don't even need to bother checking your team.
