Was offered Gurley for my DJ

I was offered Todd Gurley for my David Johnson in my Dynasty 1ppr league. Do I keep DJ or take Gurley?

Keep DJ. I wouldn’t want to worry about arthritis with my first round pick.

Are you in a league with Jags2?

Keep DJ at all cost!! Gurley has a badly damaged knee and likely heading for surgery which will end his season. He's the #1 player on my don't draft list for 2019.

I actually like Gurley over DJ... but it's more because I don't like DJ all that much. He's in a passing offense now not at all conducive to rushing, and there are plenty of pass catchers on that offense. Gurley will be on a snap count, but even on a snap count he's putting up some good numbers. He's better than DJ.

My advice is if you don't care for DJ, put him up on the trade block and see what happens.

Although I am curious to see how he fares this season.

As someone who has DJ in my dynasty league if I was offered Gurley straight up for DJ I’d pass. Even if Arizona becomes pass happy, that’s actually DJs strength. Part of his struggles last year was hey kept wanting to run him up the middle. That’s not his strength. Meanwhile there are way too many reports about Gurleys knee and a negative long term impact on him.  At this point I’d say for fantasy purposes they would be ranked near each other. Take the healthier option.
