Meadows or Harper?

Recommended Posts

Meadows, not as streaky and contributes in all five categories without being a liability in any like Harper (average). I would take Meadows.

Meadows. Harper's peripherals have told an alarming tale the past 2-3 seasons, and it is legitimately possible that he may have already peaked and is on the way to becoming a three outcome hitter. Of course, he could always turn it around, or have an MVP season, but his repeat struggles are a high concern.

Help?

Meadows is like Mike Trout. Bryce Harper is like Adam Dunn Lite. Meadows is the winner.

Meadows.

Harper is a .240 hitter now. That’s what he is. He’s not running anymore and won’t in Philly. He’s Khris Davis with OF eligibility.

Meadows will win a batting title in his career, at least once. He’s an easy 20-20 threat for the foreseeable future with upside of 30-25. Plus he bats lead off vs RHP and 3rd vs LHP, at least for now. He’s a 5 category stud.
