D.J. Chark 2019 Outlook

Those odds all seem ok for a WR3 to be honest.

I'd be very careful putting him in your lineups. Bradberry might be playing the cornerback position better than anyone right now. You can try to compare Chark to Nuk, Evans, or whoever, but bottom line is Bradberry has basically shutdown everyone he has faced. If you want facts, here are the player props by the sportsbook on Chark, they are pretty low. Vegas is expecting Chark to be held in check.

His receptions are set at 3.5. Yards is at 50.5. He is nearly +200 to score a TD. Vegas is predicting about 50 yards with about a slight chance at a TD.

Roll him out there at your own risk, but if you have other options I'd go with them.

Im starting him so wish me luck.

Dang I'd be inclined the over on 3.5 receptions he hasn't had a game with less than 4 receptions all season and that's with only averaging 6.5 targets a game.

Also Jalen Ramsey is better who DJ Chark gets to see in practice.  But all that being said I agree he's a risky play this week I'd flex him at best.

Do we know if Bradberry will shadow Chark or Westbrook? Or if he will shadow at all. That's what matters.

Chark is 6,3” and runs a sub 4.4 forty. He showed he can catch contested catches and high point balls. Once he gets 2-3 more targets per game, he will be a solid wr 2 all year with potential to be wr 1.

He has the physical tools to beat most cbs.

I am starting him every week until he proves me wrong.

  • Thanks 2

I'm sorry, but I simply don't see the Jags producing a WR1. That potential is not there in my opinion. He usurped Dede last week in targets. If that continues WR2 upside is possible, but more likely he remains a WR3.

Must start ROS. As close of a lock to double digit TDs as any other player. The only concern I can see is Foles returning

Sit him, the experts said. Good job.

He won’t see my bench again this season. Dude’s a monster.

Play the man. Not the matchup. These "experts" have no idea what they're talking about.

The dilemma now depending on your roster  is who do we bench. This guy was a ww pickup

Absolute beast.  And to think these numbers could have been even better if not for penalties.  Kudos to everyone in here that started him today with no hesitation.   I lift a cup to all in celebration.

I think we might be good, Foles is going to have to acknowledge this guy's talent if he ever returns as well...and remember the play Foles got hurt on, was on a long connection to him.  This guy passes the eye test for sure though, and the chemistry between Minshew and Chark cannot be denied.

Was his gigantic day against Bradbury, or did other defenders end up trying to cover him?

Minshew is a fantasy monster.
