Does absolutely nothing for fantasy purposes but it gives the Cubs a quality loogy without giving up any player capital.

International player monies going to SF, with SF sending the player and paying some of his salary?

I think they'll be passive aggressive sellers. Still don't think Bumgarner or Smith get moved. Not in Bochy's last season with them somewhat flirting with a wildcard spot.

At this point it might be easier to list what RPs aren't on the block.

Here is an interesting rumor:

Quote

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that one of the scenarios that the Mets are exploring, would be to trade Noah Syndergaard to the Padres, and then flip some of the players that they got in return to the Blue Jays for Marcus Stroman.

Rosenthal notes that in that scenario, Cal Quantrill -- a Canadian native -- could be a logical target for the Blue Jays. It's hard to figure out exactly what the Mets are trying to accomplish these days. Stay tuned as things are likely to get crazier before the trade deadline.

The fact this is even a thought in the Mets front office shows they have no idea what the hell they’re doing. They’ll never have sustained, consistent success. They make too many bad decisions.

Moose I could see - explains why they brought up Shaw, but Shaw hasn't done much since his return.  Grandal wouldn't make sense IMO as they're just creating a hole there.

They need to add Aguilar to their sell list.

Should be able to get Jordan Zimmerman or Dylan Covey for him

I don't think moving Moustakas and Grandal is really a terrible move for the Brewers. They're both going to be FA and they have to realize that they're not on the same level as the Braves,Dodgers,Yankees,Astros, etc. So why not do a quick retool that makes them stronger in 2020+?

Eric Sogard may be on the move. Last minute lineup scratch. Cubs had been rumored to be interested.
