I'm wondering if d'Arnaud is the real loser in all of this.

Every TB infielder/dh lost in all this (for fantasy purposes)

So Shaw, who still is hitting nothing after being called back up, is the 1B along with Thames?

I'm guessing Braun will dust off his 1B mit too. They can't believe Shaw or Thames are going to hit lefties.

And these "blockbuster" trades keep a-coming I see, heh.  Who did the Cubs get back?

Looks like Tony Kemp.

No Daniel Murphy in the line up, trade coming?

No. They are facing Ryu (LHP).

Thanks.  I forgot totally Kemp wasn't still withering on the vine in Houston.

Aguilar is probably just a short-side platoon bat for the Rays. That was a need since Meadows, Lowe and Choi are all lefties. Faria didn’t really seem like part of their plans so it makes sense.

Could just be a routine day off.

But they need Meadows and Nate Lowe to be everyday players, NOT platoon.  You ruin what could be your future stars by stunting their growth. Also they are far better even batting blindfolded against anyone than Aguliar anyway.

If this happens, I'm guessing it's very likely that Greene leapfrogs Jackson and Martin right off the bat?

Am I the only one who wants to punch Amsinger in face

You were alone until he said David Bell's getting more out of his lineup than expected.

I doubt the Nats would give up Kieboom for Greene.  They'd be foolish to imo.  Of course if you're the Tigers you always have to ask.

Unreasonable demands like this are why the Tigers are going to be sitting around at 4 pm with Greene, Boyd and Castellanos still stuck on their team.

Yup, or feverishly dialing a number and taking 30 cents on the dollar at 3:59pm because they didn't pull the trigger on a more reasonable deal earlier.

Would you rather the tigers have traded Greene weeks ago for 30 cents on the dollar like they did with JD?
