So to summarize this thread...literally nothing has been fantasy relevant except the Bauer, Puig and Stroman deals right?

Roark going to the A's helps his stock IMO.  Goes from a hitters park to a very pitcher-friendly park.

What aren’t you understanding? He’s not a rental. What people are saying is OVERPAY or Tigers can just hold. This isn’t hard.

Settle down, man lol. What isn't hard is realizing that the Tigers asking for Ian Anderson for Shane Greene is hilarious. I understand plenty as do most teams. The Tigers and their fans live in their own world. This much is proven.

Just because Shane Greene hits arb next year doesn't mean it's logical for the Tigers to not move him. They're a team going nowhere. If they had any sense, they would be replenishing their system.

Nats announcers just said the Nationals have also acquired Hunter Strickland.

Nah Tigers suck.  No middling prospect is going to change that.  Detroit fans saw the "take the best offer" returns for Martinez and Verlander.

Detroit just keeps on sucking, other teams are choosing the future for the chance to win now.

Saying “this much is proven” at the end doesn’t make a statement true 😂😂🤡🤡

Every fan base has unreasonable fans who want something for nothing. Some of us understand assets, and value, and supply & demand. Greene and Boyd aren’t going anywhere, so no need to bend. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It's two extremes. Those were because they suck at valuing players. Now they are gunshy because they don't know what the hell they're doing. Tigers fans claiming they can just keep Greene are delusional. He's a 30 yr old RP with a meh track record who's value is at his highest. The Tigers are a team going nowhere. It makes 100% sense to get the best you can for him now. By asking teams that are interested for their best prospects is delusional and will turn teams away and leave them stuck with not being able to get any assets and just being complacent in mediocrity.

In fantasy baseball, we all have that 1-2 members who ask for the moon for guys they pick up on waiver wire days prior (waiver wire fodder). That's the Tigers.

There seems to be a common theme here—the most ridiculous takes keep coming from people who are comparing this to their skills as fantasy GM 😂😂🤷🏽‍♂️

Biggest move of the day, IMO.  I don't see the logic on this one.

The Tigers and their fans do live in their own world. It's proven with asking for Ian Anderson or Carter Keiboom for a 30 year old RP with a limited track record, whos career ERA is over 4.5 and whos value is at its highest. He on't be around any time close to when the Tigers are able to field a competitive team again so keeping him and not capitalizing makes no sense.

Point is, they are so confused and stupid with what they are asking for, that teams likely roll their eyes and hang up the phone. What? You want Wander Franco for Nick Castellanos? Hahaha ok bye. Extreme example, but point stands. I guarantee that's what happens with the Tigers and it's why they will be setting in mediocrity or less for a long time.

IMO it would've been more reasonable to ask for a guy like Luis Garcia who is more unproven but still highly regarded and with Kieboom/Turner in front of him becomes a little more expendable from the Nats standpoint.

Marlins got back Jazz Chisholm (sp?) which is one of their top prospects.  But yeah Zac Gallen is a lot to give up.
