Bases loaded, 2 out, full count. Eflin vs. Cano.

edit, Cano squared it up, but lined out to center.

Sorry, no.  Just no.  You can get a Win tomorrow... 😀

Giolito looking pretty good, aside from the solo-HR to one of the 7 Red Sox in the lineup I don't own...

hicks is hitting 200 with little power.  put him 7th or 8th until he heats up

He's batting 243 with a babip lower than what'd you expect (we'll ignore the discussion on flaws with babip). He's on pace for 20 bombs in a full season. That might pass for little power on this team, but it's not like they've got a scrub out there.

a lot of dead teams people don't follow after the draft. if a player was drafted by default their % will stay at a decent percent even if they are done for the season.

That's true, but 74% still seems like a high number to me for a guy who is total garbage. He has never had a good season, is always injured, and has never even reached 140 innings. People still clinging to what he did in the minors half a decade ago?

Okay. They seem to be doing fine and imo have earned a bit of leeway on their decisions this year, but you feel differently.

ETA 243 babip

Yeah, fixed the mistake just not in time before you caught me. It's been 126 plate appearances. I'm not too worried about him yet. Once Didi and Stanton and everyone are hitting then maybe they push him down.

Ugh...sucks. I ran Plutko out there today. Not coming back if it’s a long delay.

I was surprised that people here are still consistently starting ERod, and was utterly shocked to see that he's still over 70% owned on Yahoo. Wtf

I'd way rather take a chance on one of the low-owned waiver bums who might figure things out and turn into a serviceable SP, rather than a guy like Rodriguez who we know sucks. Although I guess if all you care about is K's then Erod can help

Out of curiosity Which low-owned waiver bums?

That passes for a bottom third of the lineup bat on any team.

Wasn't Efflin supposed to be Good?  Every time he's in my lineup, he sucks.  On my bench, he's a stud!

Well Erod is 74% owned. I'd way rather have taken a flier on guys like Gibson (50% owned now, was widely available a month into the season, Plesac (30%)/Gallen(50%) who were both undrafted in 95% of leagues and widely available when called up.

Pablo Lopez, Dakota Hudson might not be trash, and Anibal Sanchez has shown he can be good in the past, all ~30% owned. Thats just off the top of my head - if I check my wire I can give you a bunch more.
