Recommended Posts

12 team h2h points
I am currently in 1st by 2 games
My 1st basemen are Profar, Vogelbach
My SP are Scherzer, Morton, Lynn, S. Gray, C. Smith, Lucchesi, Carrasco on IL

Should I give up Morton and Vogelbach for Josh Bell and Yamamoto?

I don't think your pitching can take the hit of losing Morton.

Just move Morton straight up for Bell

Are you guys serious? You think Morton is anywhere near the value of Bell, a top 10 hitter in all formats thus far?

Bell is better no doubt

But Vogey other then average has nice numbers

The problem is he has only Max Morton and Caleb

You could do the trade

Yamamoto has to be good or the Bell side loses

It depends on what it does to your team, and what is EXPECTED for ROS.

If the trade nets someone a difference in a few Homer's, some RBIs, and a better average but leaves a BIG void in pitching, you are absolutely demanding that your offense carries you every week.

Its not always about individual value, it's the value to your team. Bell has certainly been great, but Morton has been as well. He is toeing the line of Top 10 overall. Bell is the better player, but that doesn't mean he is always the best player for a certain team

I don't think a single person here thinks that.  But context matters.  His pitching staff is going to be SCARY thin without Morton.  The deal could ultimately do more harm than good overall.

Exactly ^^^

You will be punting Ks & Wins/QS and most likely seriously damaging your ratios ERA/WHIP.

Vogelbach has been a solid enough 1B this year to pass on the opportunity to land Bell

Help?
