m1dday 99 Posted November 18 Drop, I hope Brooks comes to his senses a little and try playing him at the 2 with Beal at the 1. But then it's Brooks we're talking about lol
mackdonald 159 Posted November 18 I didn’t watch the game but what happened?  Did he start the second half? He’s a -14 for the game which is a team worse.  Perhaos bertans had the hot hand.
ayowaya 6 Posted November 18 8pts/5rebs/2ast/1.4stl/0.7 3PM/48%FG in 22min. It is not that bad, still think eventually he would get at least 30min consistently.
BMart519 280 Posted November 18 This team has no direction. Whoever is hot will get more time and this guy is in a timeshare with multiple guys. Can get more value streaming.

OxyBubbleMan 278 Posted November 18 It's about fit and not talent with him. His shooting is what's keeping him from reaching minutes in the 30s. Brooks was staggering him with Beal as the main ball handler because he couldn't be a spot up 3 guy. If Wiz fans had a say, they would like him to run point instead of IT.
HerrMcKenzie 137 Posted November 18 (edited) really not sure if I should pick him up. I am sure as soon as I pick him up he shoots like 2/16 the next game. Edited November 18 by HerrMcKenzie
ahtech 74 Posted November 18 For me, better put IT in the bench in which he can do damage on scoring and put Troy Brown at starting PG. For now, troy brown should be dropped and wait and monitor how he progress.

I'm not saying he is the better player but it limits the upside for troy. Plus we've seen multiple cases this year that whoever is hot gets some extra burn.

rabaak 183 Posted 14 hours ago I don't know much about Wash, except for Beal. Why are this guys minutes all over the board?? Seem like when he gets minutes he produces. Is he a defensive liability and only plays when his shot is dropping? Does he play SF, or does he get minutes at SG? If IT comes back, will this put his minutes back?? Can’t really shoot 3s.  It will likely affect his minutes when IT returns if Scott Brooks continues to experiment with Ish/IT/Beal backcourt. Wizards fans saying that Brown should be their 6th man and is one of their better defenders and secondary ball handlers. Shooting has apparently improved too as he's removed the hitch from his pull-up, but they agree that Brown isn't going to be a consistent scorer yet.  They say the only thing holding Brown back is Scotts previously not giving him enough playing time. Oh he’s definitely the better defender in comparison to guys like CJ Miles, Bertans, McRae or IT, but the difference is insignificant—he’d just be another average defender if you were to put him in the Lakers. Bertans’ shooting has more impact than Brown’s defense if you want to put it that way. Edited 11 hours ago by MysticPeak
