You guys are talking me into starting him already.  I was gonna wait to see him validate his week 1 performance.

I'm starting him. But I think that says a lot more about my WR core than anything. However, I do love this guy.

Starting him over mike Williams in one league and debating on him in flex over James white in the other.

Me personally will pass, I am not a fan of the QB.

Are you buying into Case Keenum?

I changed my mind. All-in with Million $ McLaurin/McLovin/ Scary Terry.

Stop look walk. McLaurin had one good game let’s just hope for another.

This can be a very happy thread going forward, but it can possibly be a very angry thread for those who blew their load on Mr. McNastay.

I predict the thread will either be 1) very happy or 2) just kind of fade away

Unless the Redkins just decide to cut his workload.

Defenses will take McLauren a little more seriously now.  And Keenum will screw this up.

I hate rostering 2 redskins wr but picked up quinn in some leagues where I got him just in case he gets more targets next week

They won't start rolling coverage toward him until he keeps this up for a while.

The bigger concern I have with Scary Terry is Jordan Reed coming back.  Bad teams rely on their TE a lot, especially with rookie WRs.

Reed is always hurt and if scary Terry performs well he'll get more targets for sure. Keenum has done that much before in supporting fantasy wrs

I'm doing the same strategy.

He's probably a WR3/4 at the moment, I certainly hope that you guys have better receivers to start but I'm sure at least some of you don't.

He should have had a bigger day then he originally did. Keenum over threw him on a 70 yarder that woudlve been his 2nd TD. Can you imagine the waiver hype if he did?

In a related story, Reed will be out with an injury soon.

Why wasn't McLaurin a higher draft pick and basically a no-name in fantasy circles before week 1? He's got ok size, great speed, went to a big college to continue the hype. Why wasn't he valued higher during the preseason?

Who can honestly say seems there were a lot of speedsters in this draft Brown and Campbell who also ran a 4.3 .. But he seems like a complete receiver may have been a bit overshadowed by Campbell at Ohio State.. But you're completely right seems like he went under the radar during pretty season I didn't see many articles in regards to him.

Because he's on the Redskins.

Terrell Owens was drafted in the 3rd round

Steve Largent was drafted in the 4th round

Hines Ward 3rd round

Wes Welker Undrafted

Antonio Freeman 3rd round

Antonio Brown 6th round

Ty Hilton 3rd round

Doug Baldwin Undrafted

I could go on and on. Point being, draft is irrelevant now.

Yeah. You take a WR top 3, they're usually going to be elite. Other than that, draft value has historically not mattered much at WR. There are a ton of guys that were Day 2 picks that have had a lot of success at the NFL level.

Well, according to this article, being taken in the 3rd round for a WR is not promising at all (at least in their first year) - https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/redskins/expectations-terry-mclaurin-are-very-high-recent-history-says-they-shouldnt-be

Doesn't matter to me though.  I believe in Scary Terry.
