The end of next week? I'm not a doctor, but that's very optimistic.

He'll be back on Christmas/NYE at the earliest.

Sorry, got the dates messed up, meant around Dec 11 (Start of Week 3)

I mean this as a best case scenario.

The reevaluation is scheduled exactly a week -> 10 days after the injury.

If he’s off the boot and they find nothing wrong, they could clear him for non contact / drills a day or two after. If his ankle responds well enough then they’ll ramp up activity up to par. <- This could begin as early as this weekend and essentially keep him busy next week.

Next step would be contact / game speed 5 v 5’s, and he’ll be good to go after a couple of these.

I just tried googling the recovery for bone bruises and the usual responses were in the 1-2 months time frame. Anyway, looking forward to the re evaluation coming next week.

"He spoke to the media after the Magic’s practice Saturday and said he has started doing spot shooting — no jumping, however — and is able to run in the team’s zero-gravity treadmill.

Those are all positive signs for the Magic’s All-Star center. Baby steps on his return to the court. But Vucevic still has a lot of work to do to rid himself of any pain and return to the court. The Magic probably are not going to expect him to return until this next batch of road games is completed.

Ideally, he will be ready for the team’s final two home games in that stretch on Dec. 15 and 17 against the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets before the team heads out to the West Coast."

Sounds good to me!

Pretty much best case scenario for his injury

Facts. Josh Lloyd was initially projecting ~Christmas.

Looks like we could be getting him back in a week.

Yessssssss...I’m sure we could all use our damn 2nd rder around now lol. This is usually when things heat up in leagues, standings start to soldify, ppl start making moves, trades are made, etc...glad to have him back amidst the madness!
