Difficult Keeper Choices for 2020

Recommended Posts

I can keep 9 players, forever, in a 5x5 Roto

I'm leaning towards 9 hitters just can't figure out who out of this bunch besides the obvious:  Betts, Freeman, Bregman, Soto, Suarez, Marte, Vlad

So that leaves two between: McNeil, Dozier, Robert, Muncy, Snell, Nola, Darvish, Bauer

Advice?  Season stats and rankings below...THX!

Gotta be snell and Nola.  Awesome stuff, should have bounce back years and give you 2 sp1ish guys  to add to 4 first round bats.  Only other guy that even belongs in the conversation is mayyybe Robert, but he’s never played an mob game and could flame out.  Go with the bird in the hand.

Nola looked very average this year...no love for Jeff McNeill?

I would go with Snell and Nola as well. Nola didn't look great last year but you have to think of him as the equivalent to a 9th round pick. You aren't going to get another SP in that range who was a borderline top 10 arm just a year ago.

Thanks for the input, I'm really struggling with dropping Robert who flashes 30-30 potential, I'm almost considering keeping him over Vlad (and then trading Vlad for more draft picks)...

Snell and Nola. The face that Bauer is even in the discussing gives me diarrhea.

Can you trade?  I might look to package Vlad and Nola to see if you could land a higher ranked P and then keep Muncy.

I agree with the consensus. Snell and Nola are a step ahead of the rest. Only other intriguing option is Robert, if you're up for more of a gamble, huge upside.
