Allen wishes he was Ekeler

Williams just wishes he got a target less than 15 yards downfield.

So...

Terrell Davis vs Edgerrin James

You only got room for 1

You take Davis?

if i was given choice of ONE rb, in their prime, to win a playoff game - i take Davis.

Interesting statement, but I’ll take your word for it

How many decades will it take for someone to tell Chris Berman that his high-pitched WHOOOP!!! WHOOOP!!! is not the least bit appealing, but reminiscent of a man getting hot poker stuck in his a**.

I like it. It’s nostalgic. spacer.png

ESPN still has KC with a 72.9% chance to win even after that horrible 1st half and almost triple stats in some key categories.....haha

LA...you. suck.

Heavy praise.

I'd go with Sweetness or Jim Brown (provided we're talking about defenses representative of the era they played in, of course) but I can't say I'd complain about your choice.

When my kids ask me about football in the late 90's, I'm going to tell them about Terrell Davis and Kurt Warner.

To me, the HoF should be a museum to different eras of football, as reflect by great players from those respective time periods.  And these guys helped define that era.

If you require a standard for longevity, I understand the argument, but personally I'd rather see TD and Kurt in there than someone who just happened to play a significantly longer time for a team that was less significant to the era.

My kids asked me about guys from the 70’s. Terry Bradshaw, Joe Namath, Walter Peyton OJ Simpson & Jerry Rice. Purple people eaters (Vikings) , The steel curtain (steelers) & Fearsome foursome (Rams)

That's not the choice

Willis and edge will both get in and deservedly so. Patrick was the best MLB for at least a 5 year stretch. Had he hung on for 2-3 more years he’d be a no brainer. His teams had some success too, he played in a couple NFC Championships and a SB.

"And there is Mahomes!  Look at him weave between the giant chunks of turf on the field!  He splits the two mounds and leaps over another!"
