  1. Time to panic he had 6 catches and nearly 100 yards omg ! ( while playing injured )

  2. Yes but we must consider context. 8 pts, 8 reb with good percentages doesn't help you if it's your fourth round pick, for example

  3. You grab top tier of shooting guards that are bigger 3PT/PT contributors because of their efficiency and consistency. Streaming 3PT specialists to compensate in this category is viable but comes with some risk too. That said, I agree stocks and assists are a better early round investment if choosing between similarly ranked players due to statistical scarcity.

  4. I don’t really like drafting SGs in the general in the first few rounds. Rather I think the scarcest stats are asts/steals and rebounds/blocks so I try to focus on them until they run out. I don’t really punt points as many of the guys I like are decent in points but I don’t make it a priority either. Threes are the easiest category to get cheaply as it seems every year three point specialists are on the wire. Or you can get guys like Redick, Gordon, or Fournier for basically free later in drafts. So 20/3/3 with 3 threes and 1 steal doesn’t really move the needle for me. I’d rather targe

  8. Same. I didn’t watch him so I don’t know. My guess is few people watched this guy closely bc he’s a low volume guy on a crap team. I don’t even think Gallagher watched him closely. Rather people are simply extrapolating what he can do based on last years numbers which time and time again has proven to be a dangerous proposition. People criticize me for Dieng but at least I watched Dieng and Gobert. I felt strongly Gobert would break out as I am a Jazz fan and my family has a connection to France. I also watched Dieng and thought damn this guy is so athletic, with so much range, he’s per

  9. Lol what kind of scrubs are you playing with where you end up with Jokic, Russ, Mitchell and Gobert in the first 4 rounds?? Gary Harris in the 9th?! And wait, you're punting assists with last year's assist leader and another guy that was top 15 in that cat? what on earth

  10. Agreed. I've always found 3s to be the easiest category to target and I usually do that later on in the draft e.g. I got Fournier and Lou Will in the 2nd half of my draft this year. Stocks and assists are usually the toughest so i go for those at first

  11. Picking which WR Bortles hones in on each week has been an exercise in futility. Bortles has also been up and down all season with or without Fournette.

  12. Since we are playing the "I'm going to assume I'm right" question game: What will you say when he puts up monster numbers next week after getting extra days to rest after a Thursday night game?

  13. I had Gronk going against Ebron last night, fun times. The free agent TE pickup, dominating the guy I spent 20 percent of my auction budget on.

  15. There is 0 chance he takes a week off if he's not injured.

  16. Imo he has 0 realistic chance of passing AD as the best fantasy player for 9 cat. AD is better in basically every category except for assists. After that it becomes personal preference. I’m probably going Towns #2 due to center scarcity and his durability in addition to his usage possibly going up due to Butler leaving. I’d probably also pick Durant over Giannis in 9 cat roto due to better efficiency across the board. And in H2H I would rather have Harden and just punt FG/To which is a fairly common punt. But I wouldn’t fault someone for picking Giannis top 3.

  19. Have to disagree a little. It's he really the Best scorer? He plays on a deep team full of scoring options. The heat from night to night must be one of the most variable in terms of offensive focus in the league. The wolves have little depth. They need exactly his type of player. Essentially he is Jimmy butler lite. A guy that can create, defend and play off the ball. I agree with @BoogieNights a move to the wolves would open up big opportunities for him to expand his game and role

  20. Some tough preseason assignments-- Kanter, who's one of the most efficient offensive bigs and best offensive rebounders in the game, and next up is Drummond.

  21. I've slowly ramped up my participation and investment over the years, and so far I've come out in the green. It'll be just my luck that this year I actually fall on my face: I'm looking at probably $4000 over like 15ish leagues.

  22. The whole point of drafting Gronk is knowing that the only time he will ever frustrate you is with a 6 catch 75 yard performance. Other TE options weekly floors aren't so attractive. He's a stud (if healthy) and you'd be silly to sell him at any point unless the price is right

  25. I didnt watch any brooklyn games last season so I cant judge Allen as a player well enough. Thats why I dont target him that early. but when you look at his stats from last season + player development + stronger physics + larger role, dont you think he can come close to Capela + better ft% if he gets 30minutes per game? If you add up 10 minutes to his rookie season stats he would have had 12/8 with 1.8 blocks and almost 60%fg%/78ft%.. And you would think he will improve as a player in his 2nd year. That would make him an early-mid round guy. The big question is, will he get close to 30 minu

  26. Just grabbed him at 71st overall...I think he's over-ranked and he might not see 30 minutes consistently, but if he's 25+ minutes consistently, I think it's great value any time after pick 60.

  27. He’ll be a top 5 center behind AD Kat Joker and Embiid by the end of the season. And we will be talking about how high to take him in the first round next year.

  28. I'm in multiple leagues, and I used to write down my opponents players on an index card so I'd know who to root against. But it became so hard to figure out if I wanted my guy to score or not since my opponent in another league had him. Here's my Pro Tip: A few years ago, I stopped writing my opponents players down or even attempting to know who they were starting. I just watch the games and root for my guys. And then, after the early games are over, I'll see how I did. Sure, sometimes it sucks after I rejoiced over my Melvin Gordon scoring 3 TDs and I then find out I was also play

  29. They can - right up until about week 20 and 21 when he "injures" something and Kerr starts to sit him. I had KD last year and same thing happened. I won't touch a warrior in the first round. I don't care if on per game basis Curry and KD will very likely finish above towns or jokic, i will take either of them over the warriors stars.

  31. My suspicion is that he will be decent but the hype on him is way overblown. Mike Gallagher or other pundits will make a pick and a part of their job is to find hidden gems because if they just do the obvious then what value is their expertise? So they identify a sleeper and the readers of this forum latch onto it. Then people get excited because they have the secret sauce (even though once the experts write about it it’s no longer a secret). Us GMs also have a vested interest in finding sleepers not only because it may help you win your league but because that makes you feel smart. Then o
