  1. Estevez was clearly the best arm in that COL pen last year. Also closed a bit a few years back. Worth a stash if you can or missed out on Jairo.
  2. ESPN QUESTION: Is there any way to find out what a player did while on my team? I just want Darvish's stats while he was on my team. I remember doing this last year.
  3. No update on his MRI anywhere. Someone got info on this guy?
  4. Always with the negative waves Moriarty.☹️ You sure? Hernan Perez in CF, no way. Just checked Gamel: 386 games played, only 27 in CF but 22 this year. Dammit.
  5. Estevez pitching in the 7th today with his team down by a run. Promptly gives up HR to Bogaerts. Blah.
  6. I think he's been playing in AAA since Wednesday. Definitely played double header yesterday and hit a HR. I'm guessing he's activated this week. Anyone got better info than I found online?
  7. FRI, AUG 16, 1:52 PMROTOWIRE.COM France was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Spin: France will return to the majors after spending the last two-plus months at Triple-A with Fernando Tatis (back) and Ian Kinsler (neck) landing on the injured list. According to Dennis Lin of The Athletic, the Friars will test France at second base while Luis Urias fills in at shortstop for Tatis. France played exclusively at third base during his first stint in the majors this season, but he's been seeing occasional work at the keystone with El Paso this season.
  8. New Player Note Sun, Aug 11 Ken Giles (elbow) played catch Sunday and will not be placed on the injured list for the time being. Advice: Giles hasn't pitched since Wednesday because of his nagging elbow issue, but he felt well enough Sunday to convince the Blue Jays he doesn't need an IL stint. It's not clear whether he's available to pitch Sunday, though, and he'll remain a sketchy fantasy bet for the upcoming week. Derek Law has been filling in at closer. More: Shi Davidi on Twitter (
  9. This weekend SPs are Buehler-Maeda-Ryu. Mon-Tues TBD. He last pitched 5 days ago. If he starts Monday it'll be 9 days between starts. Can't be good. How long will he go, 2-3 IP? Stripling suffered a setback and I think that screwed up plans and impacted Urias' (non)usage. Last 14 days Urias pitched a grand total of 5 (bad) innings. Useless. Lesson re-learned with Dodger pitchers. Questionable "value" on draft day next year. Let someone else play with Maeda, Stripling, Hill and Urias...
  10. As an owner I'm disappointed. He was injured and came back later than expected. He plays @ COL but where has the power gone? Lowest SLG and OBP on my team which is a fairly deep 12 teamer. Bonehead Bud Black also sat him vs Kershaw and Bumgarner recently. If you see more than I do then use this info and try to buy low.
  11. Holy KC BBQ Batman! Now his wife is popping a bun out the oven and he's not coming back until next week. Couple of days on the bench turned into a month. SUN, JUN 16, 11:20 PM ROTOWIRE.COM Dozier will start a rehab assignment with Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Monday, Jeffrey Flanagan of reports. Spin: Dozier is expected to spend three days with the Naturals before joining his wife Thursday for the birth of his child. He'll then be sent to Triple-A Omaha, where he'll finish out the remainder of his rehab stint. It was initially reported that Dozier could return sometime during the Royals' upcoming series with the Mariners, but given this most recent timetable, it looks as though he'll remain on the injured list at least until the weekend.
  12. Article dated May 29. Said he was coming... With the recent success, many Padres fans are calling for his call-up. However, there is a specific plan ahead for Urias. "If you put him in a big league lineup right now, he would be okay," said Chihuahuas manager Edwin Rodriguez. "We are expecting more from him and we don't want him to just be okay." Despite the Padres need for a spark in the lineup, management is taking a patient approach with one of their top prospects. "I think the organization feels that the next time they call him up, it will be the last time they have to call him up. They wouldn't have to send him back," said Rodriguez. "The organization wants to make sure everything is working for him with all of his mechanics, especially at the plate. Defensively, he's a big leaguer right now."
  13. Any west coast or Dodger fan who can clarify why he's been hitting vs lefties this last week? I have a hard time following the Dodger lineup (and SP) tinkering. 1) Was he playing vs lefties only because Belligner and Pollack are hurt? 2) What's the deal with him playing 2B? Path to more PT or just a rare event dude to injuries? Regardless I hope his recent success gets him more ABs. Do we really need to give time to 36 y/o David Freese?
  14. Any shot in ATL for recently recalled Dan Winkler? Dude was great last year until he ran out of gas in Sept.
