  1. You're going to have to be more specific as to what "levels of incompetence" are being shown, and what "experts are being ignored" if you're going to get political when you say you really "don't want to get political." Was it massive incompetence in 2009-2010 when 60M Americans per the CDC had the swine flu and 12K people in the US died? Or nah? Also, many of the experts who helped deal with Swine Flu then are part of the leadership you say is incompetent now. Dr Fauci for example is highly respected/regarded regardless of political preferences, and has said actions taken to this point have helped mitigate the spread, and has said he's been listened to. So again....what are you talking about?
  2. Ha, I have struggled with my Astro keepers as well. Knowing they all cheated is one thing, but how much did that play into their final numbers? Hard to tell. Anyway, I'd still go Judge tho. I like him more, and just think with that team he's going be just as good as ever. Alvarez value definitely makes him appealing but I still say Judge.
  3. I need two of the three however,so beyond Snell who I am keeping....who from the other two?
  4. Yet another keeper help thread. I'm down to to these three guys filling out my final two spots. This is a keep forever league, H2H. I think Snell is a no brainer, but I struggle with final two. I love Gios jump last year, so I am leaning him.
  5. Kinda hard to get anything going at the plate when you play once every 4 days.
  6. He'll never be the sexiest until he goes full Matt Harvey in ESPN The Body issue.
  7. I'm getting confused. First people tell me that Mike Soroka is the new Greg Maddux, but now Giolito is the new Maddux? Who is the real new Maddux!?
  8. Ozzie Albies 2.0? He was always the youngest it seemed.
  9. Church, on Sunday. Day of rest. Then the rest of the week yell and scream at league mates.
  10. Didn't see a thread for this guy. Getting a spot start today, chance at more if he proves well. I've been holding this guy for a few years in a dynasty league and he's always been intriguing. Interesting backstory I read on him here. https://www.lonestarball.com/2019/6/7/18655551/joe-palumbo-scouting-report-texas-rangers-pitcher
  11. Good looking out. Have had him stashed in minors for a few years now.
  12. Yes, but the Rox will sign Adam Dunn that year and Welker will play once every 4 games. Ya know, don't wanna overwhelm him yet.
  13. I laughed when I saw people ask if he could get called this year, but now I'm not so sure. Yes the WS have no reason to, service time wise (damn you stupid super 2 rules), but he's impressing recently.
  14. This has always been my biggest issue with how teams handle their young players who are clearly ready to be MLB starters, and vets who suck and taking these young players time away. As a Rockies fan, it's even worse. But MLB has to make some serious changes to Super two, etc so as to not insult the intelligence of their fan base. A move like this in Milwaukee is a joke.
