  1. [...] Just can’t quit the franimal, I think he’s primed for a big season.
  2. Sitting on 128 ABs with one game remaining. Pretty big NA keeper ramifications, BENCH HIM PLEASE.
  3. Hope he gets ABs next year, he produces when he actually gets to play.
  4. Cavan Biggio must have be a genetic freak when it comes to Vitamin D levels, lmao. Almost like doctor's can prescribe a pill to help boost Vitamin D, if only...
  5. 21/9/24 batting .296/.995 with a sb over the last 30. Just absolutely killing it lately.
  6. Helping some playoff teams out today for those who stuck with him.
  7. You do realize if you pro rate those stats that’s a 160 run/32hr/96rbi season, right? Never mind the fact a 10 game sample size is tiny and every player will have dry spells, especially rookies. And even in yordan’s dry spell he’s pacing 260 runs/rbis, idk if any manager would want those kind of stats from their slumping slugger...
  8. No one has a clue. Just have to hope their FO decides they need to stop ******** around and field their best team so the As don’t snipe their wildcard spot.
  9. Got the call. 19HR/22SB in 99 games between AA and AAA with solid slash numbers. He hit .347 in high A last year with 4hr/11sb in 66 games and appears to be in the midst of a power breakout. Someone to monitor or stash and see if you have bench space, power and speed with an average that shouldn't hurt you is always intriguing. No clue what the playing time situation will be, however.
  10. Things I definitely didn’t expect from Nick Ahmed this week after picking him up last week: 4 dingers and 11 RBIs. En fuego.
  11. Was going to say I can already tell this was a wasted pickup, good stuff STL. They even alluded to him getting inconsistent playing time when mentioning calling him up before it was official, shoulda known better.
  12. Always worth a flier if you have roster space for a guy with 15hr/20sb potential with room for more if things fall right.
  13. Really hate myself for not shipping him off last offseason in my keeper league. Ughhhhhhhhh
  14. Agree that might be a bit lofty. I’d say 6/6 is more reasonable. I’ve been hanging onto him, he makes good contact and only has a 7.5% swinging strike rate so it’s kind of impressive he’s almost riding a 30% K rate. That should definitely regress positively for him sooner or later. WW is pretty barren now so I’m willing to ride it out and hope he gets hot.
  15. I don't think so, they had Cole and Morton reduce their FB usage when they came over to them. If your fastball isn't lights out you shouldn't be throwing it 60%+ of the time. They will likely get him on the four seam train and increase his better offspeed offerings to make up for the dip. He dropped his FB usage in his last two starts where he has seen more success/had more Ks, so I imagine they will do something similar. Not that it matters how he gets there, if houston can work their magic he could be an intriguing deep arm for next year.
  16. Robbie ray is on the block and only has one more year left. Dbacks aren’t building for next year with this move. Either way I don’t see weaver coming back this seasons and I have him stashed. No point unless the team gets hot down the stretch.
  17. Uhhh y’all not see he went 4 for 5 with three dingers tonight? Lol
  18. As a Dbacks fan: f--- this guy Unfortunately that’s all I have on him in my scouting report use it how you see fit.
  19. He's had trouble staying health combined with the Mets medical staff...risk to say the least but may be worth a shot.
  20. Great power and plate discipline in the minors while becoming one of the top 1B prospects and is heating up in the bigs. What is there to understand.
  21. Sonny Gray shouldn't be on any WW with how bad pitching is this year, but if he is then yes you dump Canning for him. Means has god awful peripherals, legitimately is pitching more than 2.5 runs UNDER his xFIP which is a sparkling 5.15. Lamet is just coming off tommy john, had walk issues before having surgery which will mess with guys command in their first season back and likes to give up a lot of homers because he's basically just a fastball/slider pitcher. That is a bad combo. I wouldn't dump canning for Means or Lamet. Means is a ticking time bomb and Lamet fresh off TJ is a good candidate to implode your ERA. Rather go with the kid that has great command and swing and miss stuff, so if he does give up homers he's limiting the damage because his WHIP is great.
