  1. Kinda worried this week, SEA hasn't given up 20 points to a qb yet
  2. Seems very droppable in 10 team and under or am I missing something? Probs a hold if there's nothing on WW, but I don't see any upside or floor ROS except maaaaybe for a Leo owner.
  3. I got him for DJax last week, his team was unsurprisingly struggling and needed a WR to make playoff push
  4. Reds manager Bryan Price said Billy Hamilton (oblique) is unlikely to play again this season. "I think we're so far removed now from baseball activity," Price said. "We're getting to that point where the realism portion of this deal is fading real fast -- for both [Hamilton and Zack Cozart]." Hamilton has been on the shelf with a strained left oblique since September 5. Assuming the speedster does not see the field again, he will finish out the 2016 campaign with a .260/.321/.343 slash line, three homers, 17 RBI, and a career-best 58 steals over 411 at-bats. He scored 69 runs ... nice. Mature humor here at the end
  5. What a pessimistic post after a great game, just wrecking Goodwin
  6. Hey just today on my searches it automatically reads it with "+" in between. Meaning when I try to look up "Jimmy Graham 2016 Outlook" it says "no results found for 'Jimmy+Graham+2016+Outlook" so I go and manually delete the "+"'s and it gives me a normal search. This only started happening today, what can I do about this to stop it from searching for every word in the title of the post?
  7. Absolute gold Penn State junior QB Christian Hackenberg completed 13-of-31 attempts for 138 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 28-16 loss to Michigan. Vintage Hack. There were two or three throws here that only six or seven NFL quarterbacks could have made. Outside of that? Utterly lost. When faced with free pass rushers, Hackenberg has this maddening tendency to simply backpedal, as though throwing to a receiver, scrambling, throwing the ball away or simply falling down to save a few yards have been taken off the table as options. He's like this beautiful woman at the bar who you work up the courage to speak with only to discover why she's sitting by herself: Nervous, no self esteem, hyper negative and insulting, bad breath and an expectation that you'll pay for drinks all night. At a certain point, it's time to cut bait, which is what we've been advising evaluators to do with Hack since last season. Rotoworld's Josh Norris was one of Hackenberg's earliest critics. Our draft guru ranks him as the No. 6 QB in the class and compares him to a hybrid mashup of Brandon Weeden and Zach Mettenberger.
  8. Odell Beckham will grace the cover of EA Sports' Madden 16. He beat out Rob Gronkowski in an online fan vote. At age 22, Beckham is the youngest player ever to grace the cover of Madden. Although some believe there is a "curse" associated with being on the game's cover,Madden 15 cover boy Richard Sherman earned first-team All-Pro honors last season, intercepting four passes while emerging as the NFL's premier shutdown corner. This is one of my favorite blurbs of all time. First of all, it implies that him winning cover is useful fantasy news Secondly it defends the curse with Richard Sherman being on it last year Thirdly the clearly bored rotoworld writer lists all the stats of Richard Sherman in case you didn't know he was good. (Also doesn't mention Calvin who is a fantasy player and didn't suffer any curse a couple years ago.) I would love to play in a league where OBJ's draft stock went down because of the madden cover
  9. Just one of those times when Rotoworld forgets to pretend to be unbiased J.J. Watt was named Defensive MVP as Team Michael Irvin defeated Team Cris Carter in Sunday's Pro Bowl, 32-28. We meant to blurb this last night, but our on-duty blurber literally fell asleep during the game. Watt racked up one tackle, a leaping interception, a fumble recovery, and four pass breakups for Team Carter. Quarterbacking Team Irvin for seven possessions, Matthew Stafford was named the game's Offensive MVP, throwing for 316 yards and two touchdowns.
  10. I love how they phrased it like they were presenting two sides of an argument for his being in the league On one hand, he's slow and bad On the other hand, his follicles are luscious We recommend a second round pick, coming off the board right after Trent Richardson
  11. Donte Moncrief caught zero passes on four targets in Sunday's 17-10 Week 15 win over the Texans. It was an extremely frustrating day for Andrew Luck, Moncrief and the entire Colts pass game. Luck was not sharp, generating just two scoring drives on 14 possessions. Moncrief was the No. 3 wideout ahead of Hakeem Nicks, but was not on the field when Nicks caught a 26-yard TD pass in the second quarter. Moncrief also had Danieal Manning beat deep for a bomb, but Luck overthrew him by a half-yard. Later, Moncrief had a 48-yard TD off a deflection called back by a holding call drawn by J.J. Watt. The physically freakish rookie's usage was reasonable in this one, but showed today he needs Reggie Wayne to really be a safe fantasy play. There are just too many mouths to feed in Indy.
  12. The original "Redskins Genocided by Rams" was nixed by the editor. As was "St. Louis shoots down Redskins"
  13. I don't know if this was implied by your post, but are they really using "curb-stomped" in a post from a St. Louis team right now?
  14. Thought these were some of the funnier lines that I've seen recently ESPN's Chris Mortensen is "hearing plenty of criticism" about Josh Gordon, including that he's out of shape. Gordon, who led the NFL in receiving last season, had his snaps reduced Sunday in favor of Taylor Gabriel and Travis Benjamin. Apparently the Browns aren't happy with his conditioning, route-running and/or grasp of the playbook. Of course, none of this came out over the last two weeks, so it looks like they're trying to save face after making the mistake of sticking with Brian Hoyer over Johnny Manziel. The Browns would have to be insane not to use Gordon as a full-time, featured player in a must-win game against Cincy in Week 15. The concern is that they are that insane.
  15. Odell Beckham (back) is "sore," but could practice in full this week. Speaking Monday, coach Tom Coughlin intimated that Beckham could miss a few reps this week, but his status for Sunday's game against the Jaguars is not in doubt. Beckham has proven to be a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside since joining the Giants' starting lineup four games ago If he isn't a top WR1 then who is? Averaging over 14 ppg in standard puts him top 7, right in the Sanders, Maclin, Cobb category. Rotoworld holds onto their predictions at the beginning of the season far too long
