Agreed. Brate has consistently put up 20-30 yards a game all season and has been entirely dependent on TDs to have a good week. Thomas can both get you a TD and put up 70 yards. And Brates chances of scoring a TD are lower this week against a really good defense that shouldn't allow as many TDs to the Bucs as they usually generate.

now that I think about it, Brate does have a bit of a safe floor as well.  Seems like the Ravens allow among the lowest vs the TE position - probably because the receivers are covered so well that there's no one else to throw to

This is mind boggling to me. Not even gonna argue it. Evans is just a guy who I would never even consider moving out of my lineup. To each his own I guess.

even over a guy like brandin cooks or Diggs?

Funny I own Brate and Thomas too. Went w Brate last week and was lucky he got those two TDs. Would have been pissed if he didn’t while seeing all of Thomas’ PPR points on my bench.

This week I’m leaning Ian over Brate but the NO matchup concerns me as they’ve been solid vs the TE position all season.

in the same boat as well.  I think Ian has the safer floor though

I had Fitzy earlier this season and waived him before the Chicago game.  My opponent that week dropped Trubiski (who had 6 TDs) and picked up Fitz, who was benched mid game.  Leading to just about an automatic win for my squad.

I also was not interested in Winston because of this current situation.  Everything that has happened from about week 3 on has been fairly predictable.  QB musical chairs is not a winning formula for FF.

The last thing I'll say is go with your gut, if Fitzy is calling out to you, pick him up.  My gut says stay away.

it's a good point, but isn't the upside worth it?  there's so much garbage time points to be had...

We just have to do everything we can to get that out, whatever that thing is that feels like it catches. That’s all I know, I don’t know the doctor-talk about it. I’m trying to give you the layman’s talk. He has this thing that feels like it catches. He’s not able open up ... If I knew exactly what the deal was and I could tell you [Fournette will miss] three, six, ten [games] or IR or whatever, I would. I just don’t know. Those injuries are tough. We talk about it by position, by player and we have talked about it every other way. I thought he was looking good. You guys were out there. You saw him working. It’s different when you’re playing in a game. The game is different.”
