  1. the thing that's concerning is that he only caught 3 targets out of 8 and for only 21 yards
  2. he's just coming off of injury, so he deserves a chance. The fact that he was targeted in the endzone was promising. i'll give it a couple a games and review then if the targets / pt increase and if not, then I can drop...and lost close to nothing
  3. Bought into the hype. Hoping to get someone that will help me for the stretch run.
  4. He DID catch a Td from Hundley, so there's some hope
  5. I'm not either but I'm really excited to see him play
  6. I don't understand why all the AP hate to the point where I read that people wont even spend their WW pick on him! I get it, he's not he AP of old but he has 3 things going for him. Firstly He's determined - I don't think the Saints would have traded him if AP didn't have anything to do with it. He was clearly unhappy there and was outspoken about it. He wants to be the main guy. Secondly an NFL team traded for him, so the cardinals must think he's worth something and he can produce . 3rd, he's a starting RB in the 10th ranked offense in the league. Granted he won't be there on 3rd downs, but 15-20 touches a game with GL work is reasonable What else could people ask for, for free!?
  7. good thing i held . I think AP is determined to show that he's not some guy who has nothing left as evident by him being outspoken about playing time. LT was willing to accept a backup role when he signed with the Jets and i don't remember him complaining. Some vets just know they're done. AP doesn't, and I think (as someone here said before) that because he's the main guy now you'll see him run hard. That alone i think is worth at least rb2 value here
  8. i'm also not sure about him as a flex. have jaron brown going instead. It just scares me that he didn't do much last week until late in the game
  9. I watched some of the game, and saw a nice run that he started in the middle, showed some burst and bounced it to the outside for a nice gain. It got called back by a holding penalty though. would be startable if more opportunity was there.....
  10. he would have some if he's starting and the Ty Mont owner has no other choices at RB
  11. Williams will probably miss the next game since he has a knee sprain. Us owners have to hope that Jones flops vs Dallas and Williams plays the following week and will get the start. Sucks that by that time, trade value for Williams might not be so high.
  12. What's it coming to these days when we can't believe Pre season reports anymore......
  13. I think he's going to get dropped in my 12 team ppr. even if he gets a td he doesn't get many catches
  14. He was dropped in my league. Is he worth a pickup?
  15. hoping he has a good week so I can sell high to an rb needy team
  16. AP is out to prove a point. He certainly wont' sit quietly if he doesn't get the carries to do so(he's already complained once). I own him and as someone else said here, if he was dropped i'd definitely pick him up to stash him . So , as I won't be starting him, i'd definitely hold
  17. I like the points being made here on both ends.. As someone who picked up CJ last week, i'd say that I don't really expect him to put up RB1 #s. Realistically, i'd expect low-end Rb2 #s and if more happens then great. But his opportunity alone is worth the add.
  18. was the most productive back after yesterday's game. Thoughts?
