  1. Hello - sorry for the late reply, but I had been contacted about the openings earlier. If things fall through I'll let you know, but for now the league is full. Thanks!
  2. Hello! We are looking for two new owners to replace some inactive teams in our keeper league. To be honest, the teams are quite bad (we've struggled to find active managers for them for a couple years now), but I believe our setup will still allow you to compete and not be bottom of the barrel for years to come if you are an active owner. There will still be some high quality players going back into auction every year. We do have some quirky rules as well, so please read the summary below. If you enjoy the idea of managing a salary cap type scenario, I think you'll enjoy this league a lot. Details Fantasy site: ESPN League type: Head to head with daily roster changes Number of teams: 12 Draft style: Auction with $260 budget Categories Hitters - Runs, RBIs, HRs, Steals, OBP Pitchers - QS, Saves, Ks, WHIP, ERA Rosters Composition Hitters: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, Util Pitchers: SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P 9 Bench Spots 5 DL Keeper rules You can keep up to 16 players, but do not have to keep any. Maximum keeper budget: $180 dollars Keeper cost is determined by previous year auction/keeper price + $3 increase (example: draft or keep in 2018 for $5, keep in 2019 for $8) Exception #1: If the player is acquired via free agency, they can be kept for $3 Exception #2: If a player is acquired via in-season trade, prior to trade deadline, they can be kept for their previous auction price + $3 OR the average auction price as defined by the ESPN Live Draft Results found here: http://fantasy.espn.com/baseball/livedraftresults. The date these lock is dependent upon when the system first shows a +/- change. Once we see that, we'll lock the costs in 7 days later. Currently expecting this to be during the week of 1/28. You can keep the player as long as you want, just have to incur the $3 inflation each year. Weekly Limits Minimum of 20 innings pitched 7 add/drop transaction maximum per week Additional details We have a mid-season rule review period during the All-Star break. Anyone can propose a rule change, and if it's seconded, it will go to full league vote. Changes agreed upon during this time frame apply the following season. Generally the league is pretty cordial We try to keep it civil, though there can be an occasionally tense conversation or two. The two available team rosters and auction costs are listed below: Team #1 (players highlighted in yellow were acquired via trade - their cost will increase or decrease accordingly based on exception #2, listed above) PlayerName Team POS Dollars Kenley Jansen Dodgers RP $42 Matt Carpenter Cardinals 2B/1B/3B $28 Miguel Sano Twins 3B $26 Jason Kipnis Indians 2B $22 Carlos Santana Phillies 1B $19 Justin Upton Angels OF $19 Max Kepler Twins OF $12 Drew Pomeranz Red Sox SP $11 Matt Chapman A's 3B $8 Ender Inciarte Braves OF $7 Orlando Arcia Brewers SS $6 Addison Russell Cubs SS $6 Evan Gattis Astros C/DH $6 Hanley Ramirez Red Sox DH $5 Shin-Soo Choo Rangers OF $4 Marcus Semien A's SS $4 Brad Peacock Astros RP/SP $4 Aaron Hicks Yankees OF $4 Ryan Madson Nationals RP $4 CC Sabathia Yankees SP $4 Michael Taylor Nationals OF $4 Scott Kingery Phillies 2B, 3B, SS $4 Jake Lamb Diamondbacks 3B $11 Michael Conforto Mets OF $18 Austin Meadows Rays OF $3 Jose Quintana Cubs SP $12 Sean Newcomb Braves SP $3 Michael Wacha Cardinals SP $3 Masahiro Tanaka Yankees SP $14 Team #2 (no trades were made - costs shown will be available keeper cost) PlayerName Team POS Dollars Brian Dozier Twins 2B $42 Buster Posey Giants C $40 Noah Syndergaard Mets SP $32 Marwin Gonzalez Astros UT $19 Eric Hosmer Padres 1B $18 Lorenzo Cain Brewers OF $16 Ryan Braun Brewers OF $16 Mike Clevinger Cleveland SP $15 Eugenio Suarez Reds 3B $15 Mark Melancon Giants RP $14 Khris Davis A's OF/DH $12 Jeurys Familia Mets RP $11 Gio Gonzalez Nationals SP $11 Raisel Iglesias Reds SP/RP $10 Aaron Sanchez Blue Jays SP $9 Andreton Simmons Angels SS $9 Yadier Molina Cardinals C $8 Bret Gardner Yankees OF $7 Fernando Rodney Diamondbacks RP $6 Starlin Castro Marlins 2B $4 Bradley Zimmer Cleveland OF $4 Jackie Bradley Jr Red Sox OF $4 Josh Harrison Pirates 2B $4 Odubel Herrera Phillies OF $3 Christian Villanueva Padres 3B $3 Evan Longoria Giants 3B $3 Carl Edwards Jr. Cubs RP $3 Tyler Chatwood Cubs SP $3 Hunter Strickland Giants RP $3 Brandon McCarthy N/A SP $3 If you have any interest in joining, please list your email below, as well as preferred team. 3. Hello! If anyone wants to comment on the least appealing things about joining the league too, let me know! Team quality (bad - I get it haha) Silly trade exceptions Otherwise both teams are still available!
  4. Hello. Contracts are year to year, increasing by $3 each time, however you are not locking into anything on a multi-year basis.
  5. The league page can also be viewed here: http://fantasy.espn.com/baseball/league?leagueId=106272 Also - it's free

The economy of our league is a little wonky, so I wouldn't expect that you can depend on the standard values. Typically elite players will go for much higher than expected during auction. 7. Hello! I'd be interested in joining. My email is bkoontz2@gmail.com if you have more details. Is the keeper process dynasty style except for the free agency rule? And is the off-season involve a standard draft or auction draft.
