  1. I would definitely do 1... maybe hold tight at 2... but it is still a good trade
  2. Thanks for mine. Id prefer the Chubb and Gallup side personally. OBJ is a let down and Chubb is incredible this year. Gallup could finish higher than OBJ at this rate
  3. Still torn haha. Any more opinions cheers
  4. Im 3-3 currently and the bye rounds looking forward arent favourable for me. The weeks i vs top 4 coaches i have alot of guys on bye round.... Have been offered a trade by the Vikings fan coach.... Offer to me - Bell Amari Montgomery 🔁 For my - Dalvin RWoods (I like Bells schedule coming up for the back end of season, and the fact hes had the bye already.... And i have Mahomes and Kelce, who share the week 12 bye with Dalvin... This move would make my week 12 team stronger... im also vsing the coach who has made this offer for Dalvin in week12 with him unaware of Cooks bye against me)
  5. Thank you mate. Completely agree it will make it more fun! last few seasons the waiver wire has been too easy to play, if an injury or something came up. Cheers bud
  6. Thanks for your response mate. Appreciate it. I personally love the idea of a multi flex league and deeper bench. currently it is - 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 te 1 flex (rb/wr) 1 kicker 1 defence 6 bench its a 0.5ppr scoring system with no adjustments made to default scoring. and i should of added, that some bright spark when our league formed 4 years ago that it would be a good idea for coaches to “select their supported teams defence and kicker” as we have 8 coaches and 8 different supported teams... I hate this personally and am looking for a way to get rid of it... ala. ^^ question. Haha thanks again.
  7. Hey guys. Whats everyones opinion on adjusting my 8 team, 0.5ppr leagues starting roster positions. I listen to the fantasy footballers podcast among a few others and have notice all of them love the idea of ditching the kicker, and adding an extra flex, especially in 8 or 10 team leagues. Purely because Kickers are a forgotten area and in smaller leagues, everyones flex is still generally pretty good. A second flex opens up the streaming option and the waiver wire more. Thanks for everyones responses in advance. WHIR
  8. Joe Mixon David Johnson Todd Gurley and why? really appreciate everyones opinions. i change daily but currently lying with Mixon
  9. Thank you... this is strongly the approach i am considering. to get a set and forget TE with the hopes of getting RBs like Ingram, Henry, Jacobs, Guice, Coleman later in there draft. Theres alot of RBs this year with big potential
  10. I actually do like it for a player of DJs pass catch abilities, yeh... especially when he has been quoted saying he prefers to play out of shotgun, and its what he was accustomed to in his college days...
  11. Thanks again mate....... Bell and Gurley have me the most concerned definitely due to Gurleys injuries and Bell in a new offence... Connor and Samuel for that matter produce at the Steelers with Bell not there..... the Steelers schemes and coaching and offence are a big factor in Bells success and hes not fortunate enough to be in a team of those capabilities anymore... no doubt he is a star... but will the line provide time and space? Will defences just cover everything Bell does in the pass with no real other threats there... i really like Mixon and DJ running out of the shotgun... Mixon does have me excited but i feel like taking him ahead of those other names is silly, for some reason.. haha i cant work out why
  12. Thanks mate... can i pick ya brains why you went with DJ over those other names?
  13. Predicting the first 7 picks look something like this - saquon zeke mccaffrey kamara gordon hopkins adams ...? who is the safest pick(s) at the 8/9 loop and why out of - DJ, Bell, Gurley, Mixon, Connor etc. (Id prefer to go RB, RB with the depth of WRs available later)
  14. Thanks mate. Easily mistaken without tone or sarcasm over written formats I guess. my bad. as for the ADPs you've listed, I use the same... but as for Hopkins falling, and some of those other varying ADPs that might seem puzzling to my previous message.... I KNOWWWW my league will be RB heavy in the first 2 rounds and that TE is seen as a pivotal area. it has been crucial in our playoffs the last 4 season and everyone is aware of it. TE, is easily the shallowest position to fill after those 3 mentioned names and im sure you are aware of that, granted OJ Howard, Engram, Henry etc could perform awesomely... but after the big 3, there isn't much left and its somewhat a headache. so I know the lads in my league will panic. like I said, just spit balling, passing on Hopkins, Adams, Mixon etc. at my 9th pick will be very hard to do. but to gain Kelce in a positional value area where he posts basically RB numbers when most of the league will be running the wire a lot of the weeks, is also very tempting..... given it causes panic and ruins everyones draft planning..
  15. Thanks for your response mate, even if it is a little condescending...... i may of not got my idea across properly. The other 7 coaches all mock and pre plan. They all understand the value of a elite TE. the main idea behind this strategy is to cause a stir...... i only need for 2 or 3 of the 7 coaches to panic and steer away from preseason plans for it to have some advantage for me. None of the guys in my league will be planning on a TE going in the top 10, and i know “atleast” 2 guys that will want to follow trend and take Ertz and/or Kittle as soon as they can to avoid the TE headache later on the board...... i have mocked with this approach and without, and the WR/RBs left when i do it and Ertz and kittle have followed, are names like Dalvin cook, Juju, Chubb, Evans. all these names that arent there when i dont do the Kelce at 2 move... and im left with Amari, Fournette, etc... basically its - 2,Kelce 3,Juju 4,cook/chubb Or 2, Hopkins/Mixon, 3 Fournette, 4, Amari (and take a bust TE later in draft) i hope that makes sense
  16. Hey guys. Whats everyones thoughts? Im drafting at 8th in our 8 team league in my real draft... have a strategy planned that im thinking about. Its Only early days.... but what are your thoughts on taking Kelce at 2.1 (9th overall).... plan is to get the league to reach on Kittle and Ertz between my 2nd round (9th overall) and 3/4 round picks (24/25th overall) essentially causing more players to drop to my pick.... before people say “who takes a TE that early, the last few seasons i have guaged that our league dynamic understands the worth of a set and forget TE that can post RB or top teir WR numbers consistently. They demand high trade value if need be aswell... like i said, early days.... and this is why we mock and do preseason forums i guess, but if me taking Kelce at 2.1 could cause a domino effect on Ertz and Kittle before my 3/4 picks at the loop, effectively 2 guys that “shouldn’t” of been available - now are...... and i got Kelce. Not to mention to depth if WRs in those rounds, and guys like Fournette, Dwilliams, MIngram etc all RBs going in those 3/4 rounds also... Cheers guys. Really appreciate everyones opinions...
  17. Its definitely a bold strategy... to take both TEs off the board early to thin out the position for the rest of the league, and rely heavily on the best trade offer..... probly a little too rich for my blood, but definitely not dumb in my opinion.
  18. Thank you... This guy gets it... The want for Kelce as a set and forget TE, is a big part in this... but the fact that it causes fallers from round 2 onwards means it could potentially land me a better team than i should be able to draft... Throw in the possibility of Mahomes going early causing a similar trend in the QB area... Thank you.
  19. hahaha. if I choose to go with the RB1/WR1 option, I would seriously consider doing that or Hunter Henry. I went this approach last year with Trey Burton at round 8 and was left picking up the pieces all season in the TE area. cost me crucial matchups until I took a risk and traded for Gronk who wasn't any better. (got him cheap, don't worry haha).
  20. I persoanlly would rather take RB1 and WR1 at my 8-9 pick, i would have first pick at WR of Nuk, Adams, Hill, Thomas, Julio and AB. But, i think the choice to pass on one of these big names to get Kelce (whos numbers arent that far behind this crop) alongside his positional value being that TE is tough to come by. I know once Kelce goes in my league, that Ertz and Kittle go straight after..... without hesitation.....Our league from previous seasons understands the importance of TE set and forget too much. Kelce literally carried the coach who finished top seed in regular season to a 11-3 record... I dont see Ertz or Kittle making it to 24 if i dont take Kelce at TE1 off the board. If i can cause a panic domino effect at TE early, that “should” push WR names such as Evans, OBJ, Juju, Green, Allen down to my 24 pick for my WR1 slot. While aiming at guys in the 5/6 turn around like Golladay for WR2.
  21. Thanks mate. I personally think in an 8 teamer, he “should” make it to the third round also... but i really dont see him making it to my end of the round, 3.8 pick... the round 2.1 pick (9 overall) is to cause panic amongst the league, mess up any predraft plants they may of had, gain me a “set and forget” at a very shallow position... If another coach was to panic, and take Ertz and Kittle once Kelce gets reached on... that pushes 2 guys back down further to my 3.8 pick that “shouldnt” of been available for me that late in round 3....
  22. Thanks for that... I am im a few leagues yeh... some are 12 team PPR aswell..... The one i am in referance to however, is my main league as we have a cash buy in, a plaqued trophy and a private facebook page with weekly awards for best coaching move/decision and penalties for the worst one..... voted by the league... Everyone gets into and its a decent league to be apart of... This is the one i put most effort in and the one thats got me scratching my head as we already have determined to draft order based on last seasons final standings. My problem is if I pass on Kelce at the round 2 area... I may aswell just snag somebody in the later rounds because i highly doubt Kelce, Ertz, Kittle or Ebron will be there at the 3/4 turnaround for my 3rd and 4th pick...
  23. Thanks for weighing in on mine mate... appreciate it. as for yours, ive never been in a keeper league but understand its concept and actually really like the idea of it... as for your question, i would definitely look to offer for Woods and Ertz (given you WRs) if he is seeking a RB, i would offer up either Jones or Kerryon, with Henry so he isnt short a TE... personally, i think Aaron Jones is a sell high based off last season. Just an opinion. I think the Packers are a confusing outfit with the RB area. And the recent talk of Lions opting to be a run first offence, along with Kerryons skill and youth... Guice will return big things aswell i feel... hes a talent.
  24. Thanks for replying... so you like the idea of Kelce at 9th overall (round 2, pick 1) based off of the thoughts behind it?
