  1. I've been hesitant to look his way due to his pass blocking issues, but injuries have forced my hand and I will be starting him. Maybe the pass blocking issues will force Carroll to run the ball more?
  2. Not the reason I drafted him, but a great call nonetheless!
  3. The law of diminishing returns is gonna render this "sitting and learning" thing redundant. It's best they play Tua in 2020 while reduced crowd noise is still a thing and his mentor, Fitzpatrick (contract year), is still on the team and can help him prepare and make midgame adjustments. The problem for Tua is the team is 2-3 with a lot of very winable games coming up on their schedule: Week 6: NYJ (winable) Week 7: BYE Week 8: LAR Week 9: @ARI (winable) Week 10: LAC (winable) Week 11: @DEN (winable) Week 12: @NYJ (winable) Week 13: CIN (winable)
  4. QBs are rarely (if ever) tackled in practice. They wear different colored jerseys so defenders don't hit them. Tua would be on the injury report if he wasn't healthy.
  5. Carson Wentz's 40.7% on-target pass rate is lowest in the NFL, and he leads the NFL with 8 turnover worthy-plays. The 0-2-1 Eagles are 7 point underdogs going into San Francisco on Sunday night. In weeks 5 and 6, they travel to Pittsburgh and host Baltimore. Brutal. Can Wentz and Doug Pederson survive this stretch without at least 2 wins? After that, the Eagles find themselves in two nationally televised games - TNF at home against the Giants, and SNF at home against the Cowboys. I'm hoping they turn the kid loose against the Cowboys in week 8, after a long week of practice.
