  1. Hi, I am playing in a points based H2H league, keep 4. For my last keeper it’s down to Altuve vs Bogaerts, I am not overly concerned about keeping them long term.

I am leaning towards Altuve since 2B is not as deep and Boston’s roster obviously isn’t as great.

    Thoughts? WHIR

let me know when b ham ever sniffed this stat line....177 games played, 690 at-bats.  23 home runs, 99 RBI, 105 runs, 89 steals.

for reference. b ham has a career 21 hrs, 176 rbi, 242 avg 809 games.

I'm a big believer of Mondesi, don't get me wrong. Just trying to compare with the other poster's point.

I'm keeping him (at no cost) going into this season. But for those of you mulling Mondesi, heres some things that keep me up at night (not literally) with relying on him:

    29.8% K rate (bad)

    4.3% BB (bad)

    25.5 K-BB% (near league worst)

    .715 OPS and a 9.3% HR/FB rate = slapdick

Swings a lot outside of the zone but his o-contact% was below average last year.

21% swinging strike rate was about the worst in the league last year.

You mean that's a Billy Hamilton clone?

  4. H2H Keep forever. Cats: R, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB AVG, OBP, SLG, XBH. Already keeping:

    Arenado (3B)

    Altuve 'bang bang' (2B)

    Villar (SS)

    MCNeil (OF)

    DeGrom (SP)

    Strasburg (SP)

    Nola (SP)

    Thor (SP)

For my 1B I can keep Rizzo or Max Muncy. Thought about throwing back McNeil but he helps in 2B, AVG and I don't have any OF to keep. Could throw back Nola or Thor also. However, I feel Rizzo and Muncy are similar, one is 30 (Rizzo) and one is 29 (Muncy). As of now I am leaning Rizzo because of proven performance. Thoughts? WHIR

    2B CBiggio (thru 2023 season)
    OF LRobert (2023)
    OF JAdell (2023)
    OF KTucker (2023)
    UT YAlvarez (2023)
    P CPaddack (2023)
    P BMcKay (2023)

    I'd go with these 7

I wouldn't chance throwing Adell back I think him and Robert will be huge by 2021. By then Alvarez and Paddack will be top 30 players as well

OP, thanks for helping me. I agree with the above.

I won our 10-team league last year and as a result have some really tough keeper decisions to make. I can keep any 10 of the following

    J.T Realmuto, Will Smith

    Matt Olson, Cody Bellinger

    Yoan Moncada, Eduardo Escobar

    Carlos Correa, Javier Baez

    Anthony Rendon, Josh Donaldson

    George Springer, Marcell Ozuna

    Andrew Benintendi, Michael Brantley

    Yasiel Puig

    Walker Buehler, Shane Bieber

    Hyun-Jin Ryu, Aaron Nola

    Sean Manaea, Carlos Carassco

    Edwin Diaz

Our format is basic points system, hits, runs rbi, homers, steals, wins strikeouts, quality starts, saves and holds.

Any thoughts or help is appreciated thanks.

    Help?

  7. We're keeping 5, Yahoo H2H. Here are my first 4 keepers:

    Anthony Rendon -> No Brainer

    Javier Báez -> No Brainer

Whit Merrifield -> I love his versatility.

    Adalberto Mondesi -> I'm a believer.

The leaves me with 1 keeper left:

    Anthony Rizzo

    Matt Olson

    Jack Flaherty

    Shane Bieber

My original thought was to keep Flaherty due to his monster second half. However, First Base is not really deep so Olson or RIzzo also warrants consideration. Thoughts?

    Thanks and 100% WHIR
