  1. As a Yankee fan, mixed feelings. They were a great time but this shouldn't go unpunished.
  2. Looks like Arenado comes at a discount next year. I'm in.
  3. Cole might sign a 6-8 year deal heavily front-loaded with an opt-out after 2 years. Think 8/$250M with $40M in the first 2 years. Cole goes to the Yanks, wins a title, opt out and moves to CA after 2 years. Meanwhile, the Yanks "only" pay $31M a year for luxury tax purposes
  4. EE Gone > BYE! CC Gone > Thanks CC Gardy Gone? > BYE! DiDi gone? > BYE! Will Chapman opt out? > Reworked 3-4 year contract Yanks will sign 1 SP and call it a season. One out of Cole, Strass, MadBum.
  5. 3 Game 5s in the Division Series. Wow.
  6. As a Yankee fan I rather face the Rays over the Astros, especially with HF advantage vs the Rays. Not that the Rays will be a walkover (as they're showing vs the Astros). But Cole is scary good.
  7. Voit will be fine. I think his hernia seriously is impacting him. He'll need to really struggle at spring training to lose the starting job. They'll give Bird a chance also, but he'll probably get himself injured going to the bathroom.
  8. Bird is done, I agree. Didi is interesting: they might put a QO on him and he might actually accept. If he accepts, E5 is gone. If not, E5 might be back. Andujar is back next year so they can slide Urshela to SS. Hopefully they'll also sign Cole.
  9. Thanks for helping me. No-brainers: Yelich (Previous Keeper) Bellinger (4th) Corbin (Previous Keeper) No based on your league settings I would add: Castillo (6th) Then add one of: Kershaw (Previous Keeper) Syndergaard (Previous Keeper) Woodruff (14th) Minor (25th) Not sold on J-Ram, especially as a 1st pick. With settings like yours (I'm in a similar league) I would go definitely go with 3 pitchers.
  10. League 1: R, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG, XBH McNeil or Conforto (both OF)? I'm leaning McNeil League 2: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG C Santana (3B), E5 (UTIL) or J Turner (3B). Leaning Santana Thanks and WHIR 100%
  11. Thanks for helping me. I am never a believer in keeping pitching unless it's a proven ace. So I would throw Buehler back and keep the other 4. Stanton (talking as a Yankee fan!) is frustrating to own but you can make an argument to keep him over J-Ram. His first half scared me.
  12. Thanks for helping me. I highlighted the keeper in bold.
  13. Can you do another since this (your) post? Dude has been brutal in September.
  14. I own him in a dynasty league (keep all players forever) and he's been riding my bench the entire month of September. Had him active in Coors but even there he absolutely sucked. Thank God for Kevin Newman. Good luck to all drafting him in redraft leagues next year. I'm not touching him with a ten foot pole: looks to me he got paid and he has given up on producing. People might call Stanton the biggest fantasy bust he's sneakingly producing in fantasy final week(s).
  15. I am not sure how to help you, since I don't have enough information. Auction? So a player on your (or any roster) is auctioned off? Then that's not a true keeper right? I might misunderstand it.
  16. Yahoo H2H Keep 5. Keeper for sure: J-Ram, Stanton, Bregman, Mondesi. Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Doubles (2B), Triples (3B), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base Percentage (OBP) Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Losses (L), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Quality Starts (QS) Benintendi was one of my keepers this year but I really don't think he's keeper material. I am considering W Contreras since catcher is such a wasteland or Flaherty who has absolutely dominated the second half. Thanks and 100% WHIR.
  17. "Anthony Rizzo will wear a boot for 5-7 days after an MRI revealed a moderate lateral right ankle sprain. Advice: He will be further evaluated after that before the next steps are determined. Given that the sprain was deemed moderate and there are only two weeks left in the season, it would seem to be a long shot that Rizzo makes it back before the end of the regular season." He'll definitely be out this week.
  18. No concerns, but not sure if he can make it to 5IP to qualify for the win.
  19. Terrible for those in championship finals. I won't even begin to list the players I lost, but I doubt Rizzo will be back anytime soon.
  20. He's playing against BAL. No worries.
