You must be in a great league if  you're dropping him. Dude is a solid OF that offers power and speed. But hey drop away and let someone else reap the benefits...

I'm glad he dropped him. Gomez hit a home run after he dropped him. Hopefully more people complain about him in this thread so Gomez can spite them and we reap the benefits.

  2. Maybe he has lost some motivation wasting away in the minors. Seeing legends play the middle infield for the Mets and then seeing other prospects getting called up before him. I don't know, it just seems odd that once everyone was pushing for him and more prospects getting called up, he went into a slump.

    For Yahoo:

Pitchers need 3 Starts to gain SP eligibility, 5 Relief Appearances to gain RP eligibility.

    For ESPN:

Pitching appearances during current season: 3 starts / 5 relief

This, along with other reasons, is why I held on to him. The RP eligibility would be quite nice.

Thanks man! Wow it might be tough to get RP since he's been pretty solid lately where he probably solidify himself into the rotation.

  4. The three runs allowed were kind of weak. If he does not walk Nolasco, he probably does not give up those two runs early on. If Pederson played better defense, Simmons would have been out and he would never have scored.

I'm happy with the start but it was so close from being an awesome start. Either way we gotta take it given the low expectations we had.

  5. He sucks against lefties but will have a great game today since you guys dropped him.

In all seriousness, look at his overall numbers. They are great. Keep in mind he had a strong spring and has pretty much done what he said he would do (fly balls etc...). Don't give up on guy named Yonder who can take your team ever yonder!

  6. Fellas, he's played a total of 79 games with the Rangers. In those 79 games, he's pretty much been better than he was with the Brewers. Only thing that isn't quite there are stolen bases, but he has 11 in that span. I do not think you can get fair value for him in a trade. He seems to be flying under the radar as a forgotten stud.

I really don't see the need to rush him. An .840OPS in one of minor league baseball's top 5 offensive ballparks is hardly killing it. Let him work on improving his pop and improving his plate discipline.  You send him up there now and there's a good chance he goes Lewis Brinson, another prospect who was also not ready but his Colorado Springs inflated OPS had people convinced he was.

Well the A's thought Baretto and his .750 OPS and insane strike out rate was ready !!!!1111

    This is getting ridiculous.
