  1. I bought in this morning in my dynasty league. He has put in alot of work off the field during the Pandemic (i.e. added muscle), made some mechanical changes, and appears to be focused. He is getting great recognition from the coaching staff about his leadership and work ethic. I eat that type of information up when looking over players who haven't broken out but had the initial grades to be pretty good.
  2. I would keep the hitter over the pitcher. Good luck. Help please:
  3. Because it is a 10 team league I would go with a Pitcher because I think you can get a bigger advantage in your case since you kept Verlander. Then hitter in the 2nd rd. I would select Beiber. Help please:
  4. 14 team 6x6 categories (SV/H3, OBP) Would you trade Nick Senzel for Lance McCullers in a Dynasty league? I could really use the SP upgrade. I have a young farm system with the likes of Garrett Mitchell, Aaron Bracho, Greg Jones, Geraldo Perdomo, Austin Martin, and Mark Vientos. Below is my team and WHIR. Thanks! C Will Smith 1B: P.Alonso 2B: M.Moustakas SS: Corey Seager 3B: E.Suarez (3 OF): G.Springer, F.Reyes, J.McNeil (2 UTL): C.Santana, J.Turner BN: A.Eaton, N.Senzel SP: B.Woodruff, D.Lamet, Caleb Smith, S.Matz, L.Lynn, D. Cease, J.Means,T.Walker, D.German, C.Rodon RP: E.Diaz, N.Anderson, J.Karinchak
  5. Hilliard and Cease for me.
  6. Max Meyer, Brandon Marsh, and Ed Howard are the only players in a Top 100 left to draft in our league. I know things will change but that is slim pickings heading into next years draft. I currently own two 2nd rd picks and a 3rd rd so I will have three picks in the first 35 picks even if I trade my 1st rd pick.
  7. I'm in a H2H Dynasty and certainly looking at 2021. Anything is possible in this 60 game season and I will adjust as needed but not moving big pieces for the future.
  8. For what's it worth. Baseball Prospectus updated there Top 100 prospect list to include 2020 mlb draft picks. There are only 3 players from that top 100 who are available in our league.
  9. We were able to draft them in our leagues draft so the likes of Grayson Rodriguez, Emerson Hancock, Asa Lacy, Kumar Rocker, etc are gone.
  10. 14 team H2H dynasty. I was offered prospects Ian Anderson(SP-ATL) and Aaron Bracho(2B-CLE) for my 2021 1st rd pick. I could really use the pitching prospect as my SP's are thin. All players were eligible for the draft so all of the 2020 and 2021 young SP's were snatched up in our draft this year. And Bracho is moving up the rankings at only 19 years old. This is an OBP league which favors Bracho. Thoughts? And WHIR.
  11. I saw comparisons to Yelich, Bregman, and Dansby Swanson. Completely agree the Jay's offense will be stacked.
  12. You saying Suarez and Lamet for Arenado only? Or with Hendricks still included on his end? The owner of Arenado is seeking SP's which is why I was sending Woodruff and Means. I could take or leave Means but he was the runner up ROY with solid #'s depsite the likely regression this year. Hendricks would, on paper, lock up my RP slot. You hit the nail on the head with the sell on Suarez.
  13. Hitting: R, HR, RBI, OBP, Ks, SB Pitching: QS, W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV/H Sending an offer for Arenado. Do you think my Eugenio Suarez, Brandon Woodruff, and John Means is enough for Nolan Arenado and Liam Hendricks? My team is below and WHIR. C Will Smith 1B: P.Alonso 2B: M.Moustakas SS: Corey Seager 3B: E.Suarez (3 OF): G.Springer, F.Reyes, J.McNeil (2 UTL): C.Santana, J.Turner BN: A.Eaton, N.Senzel SP: L.Lynn, B.Woodruff, D.Lamet, D.Cease, Caleb Smith, S.Matz, J.Means, T.Walker, D.German, K.Gausmann RP: E.Diaz, N.Anderson, J.Karinchak
  14. I'm reading he may be a better RP than SP?
  15. Happ for me in Wrigley during the summer months. Dee may not even be starting if Shed Long plays well. Help please:
  16. Adrian Houser for me. Just a gut call because I think him, Civale, and James each have similar upside. Help please:
  17. 14 team H2H Dynasty. Pitching cats: QS,W,K,ERA,WHIP, SV/H My starting pitcher rotation is weak on paper and likely in real life. Should I consider adding any of the following FA starting pitchers and if so who is the drop? My rotation is below this list. Pablo Lopez Matt Shoemaker JA Happ Mike Leake Here is my rotation: Woodruff Lance Lynn Lamet Cease Caleb Smith German - suspended can't IL Gausman John Means Zach Eflin Steven Matz From the FA list I like Pablo Lopez who is younger and was unlucky last year, JA Happ b/c of shortened season and how well he ended last and started the Spring, and Matt Shoemaker if healthy. WHIR.
  18. Staying on the DH, what about Nick Senzel in CIN? His recovery from his shoulder injury is going well and he progressed to throwing but finds himself in a crowded OF situation.
  19. It is unfortunate for Honeywell. I don't know how his most recent elbow issue affects him long term but I read the odds of a long career were already stacking against him because of his previous elbow issues. That was based on previous SP's who had the same elbow issues and how they fared. I'm personally rooting for Honeywell because I hate to see players who have opportunities cut short because of injury and not performance.
  20. I'm targeting him via trade in my Dynasty league and was curious on the outlook moving forward. There are several young arms in ATL so there is tough competition. From what I've read it appears he can stick as a starting pitcher who could be anywhere from a #2 to #4 option. He was able to improve in each AA and AAA after initially struggling.
  21. Thanks for the reply. Owners treat SP's like gold in our league. What about pitchers like Jose Berrios, Sonny Gray, Jake Odorizzi, Joe Musgrove, or James Paxton?
  22. Any current buzz on Anderson? I see he is slipping down some lists. But he is only 22...
