  1. We have one opening in an established dynasty fantasy baseball team. I have posted that team's roster as well as our constitution below. All money is handled through League Safe. The owner who commits will need to understand there is a steep learning curve to this particular league. We also require constant communication which is why we have an app chat for all league updates. Please feel free to post any questions you may have and I will get back with you as soon as possible. Draft day/time is currently up in the air but we always find a consensus that allows for a good online draft. We also hold a minor league draft which takes place at the beginning of March. The first owner to make their entry fee in League Safe will have the spot. Thanks for your inquiry. Constitution CONSTITUTION (EST 2014) The Cup of Coffee Club Dynasty League Commissioner: Responsible for enacting and enforcing the rules of the league, day to day operations including ML player being awarded contracts, transactions, passing add/drops and trades. Treasurer (League Safe): Responsible for collecting and managing the entry fees and distributing the prizes at the end of the season. Majority vote will be required in order to release funds. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION The distribution of prize money will be as follows: $150.00 of the $2,400.00 prize pool will be collected by the Commissioner for reimbursement for the CBS league hosting fee. The remaining $2,250 will be distributed amongst the league winners. Half the remaining league prize ($1,125) will be distributed among the top four teams on the CBS scoreboard at the end of the season. 1st (40%) - $450.00 2nd (30%) - $337.50 3rd (20%) - $225.00 4th (10%) - $112.50 The remaining $1,125 of the league pool will be distributed among the dynasty point holders. DYNASTY POINTS Each year the league will award dynasty points based upon your finish within the standings. Below you will find the allotment for dynasty points as well as payouts and information pertaining to the loss of dynasty points. Distribution of Dynasty Points: 1st - 4 Pts. 2nd - 3 Pts. 3rd - 2 Pts. 4th - 1 Pt. Distribution of the remaining prize of $1,125 will be as follows: The number of dynasty points in any given year will be divided into the total # of prize balance. Dynasty Points continue to accumulate as long as you finish in the top 4 places each year. If you fail to obtain a dynasty point during any season, you will lose ALL your dynasty points. TRADING A trade is only valid once it has been accepted via the CBS league site system. All verbal, text, and e-mail agreements will not be recognized. All trades will be processed as soon as they are accepted by both parties. No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 PM ET 8/31/2020 In the event of a trade objection, any owner will need to contact the Commissioner directly by email (charlierivas3@gmail.com) within 24 hours of the time the trade was accepted. Each team is only allowed to invoke one (1) trade objection vote per season so please use it wisely! In the event a trade is called to a vote, the players will remain on their new teams until the vote is completed. Any team who does not submit their vote within 24 hours of the call of the vote will have their vote counted as abstaining. Due to the complex nature of this league and the varying strategies each team could be taking depending on their situation, a trade will have to be HIGHLY questionable in order to be deemed collusion. In the even a trade is suspected of collusion, please e-mail me. The team who offered the trade will be given the chance to present a written argument to justify why they made the trade. The argument will be provided to the league. At that point, a vote will take place. In order to nullify a trade, six (6) of the remaining ten (10) teams not involved in the trade will have to vote against the deal in order to have it reversed. ML PLAYER DRAFT An ML player for this league will be defined as follows: Players eligible to be drafted in the ML draft are defined as follows: Under 300 major league at bats or 100 major league innings pitched and must be currently signed to a major league team or their affiliate farm system. Only players drafted in the ML draft are eligible for ML status. Any player picked up during the season will only be counted as a (5) regardless of their IP or AB numbers. FFToolBox will be used determine a random snake draft order. Once the draft order is determined, team owners will go in order posting their pick via the official league draft e-mail chain until all rosters have their maximum ML players allowed. For the first year of drafting, only 15 ML players will be drafted by each team. A team can then determine to give them a contract before the auction draft if they so chose. Each team is allowed to draft up to 15 ML players during the ML draft depending on the number of ML players (without contracts) that are currently on their roster. For example, if a team carries 5 ML non contract players going into the draft, they will be allowed to select through rounds 1-10. If a team has traded in the off-season for additional picks in multiple rounds, they will only be allowed to draft up to the point their ML roster is full and will forfeit all subsequent picks. AUCTION DRAFT FFToolBox will be used determine a random snake draft order for nominations. The league will have a salary cap of $150 for the regular season. For the purpose of the auction, each team will receive $1,500 to use on bids because CBS does not allow bids under $1. Therefore, at auction, $1 will equal $0.10. For example, if a player bids $20 on a player at auction and wins that player, the player will receive a $2.00 (1) contract at the auction's conclusion. Active MLB, reserve, ML players previously given a contract and DL players count towards the cap. Any player, whether they fall under ML status or not based on IP and AB, who are bid on at the auction, will be given a salary of their auction bid and a contract of (1) ROSTER REQUIREMENTS Each team will be required to carry the following in their everyday active lineup: (1) - C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, MI, CI (3) - Utility (4) - OF (10) - Pitchers Rosters lock (5) minutes prior to the 1st game as designated by CBS. Each team will have the option to carry four (4) MLB Reserve spots at the start of the season. Each team may carry a total of up to 15 ML players. Each team may have up to (3) IR players. Players on IR must have an MLB "DL" designation. Players in IR must be brought to active status within three (3) days after the player has returned to (Active) status. Violation of not returning a player to active status within the three (3) day time window will result in the following: * On the 4th day, the owner will receive an e-mail and be warned about the violation. * On the 5th day, the owner will have their roster locked and no moves can be made. * On the 6th day, the owner will lose the right to the player and he will be put into the FA pool. Illegal Roster - A team must have every active lineup spot filled five minutes before the first game starts that day. This includes all 14 hitting positions and all 10 pitcher positions. Reserve players are optional and thus do not count against this rule. A player may fill an active lineup spot even if they are injured / not playing / or even on the DL so long as all the spots are filled. Violation of not having a legal roster will result in the following: * First Instance: The owner will receive an e-mail and be warned about the violation. * Second Instance: The owner will have their roster locked and no moves can be made. *Third Instance and Beyond: The owners roster will be locked and the team will receive no stats for that day. On May 1st - Reserve roster expanded for optional (5th) reserve. On July 1st - Reserve roster expanded for optional (6th) reserve. On Sept 1 - Reserve roster expanded for option (7th-8th) reserve. SALARIES All salaries for active roster players will be set at the auction draft by a bidding process. Minor League players may be suggested at the auction draft if they were not drafted in the ML draft. Free agent salaries will be $1.00 if undrafted or whatever their value is at the time they were dropped if they were won at auction, they will be assigned a (5) contract status which disallows said player's eligibility to be retained. CONTRACTS Description of contracts: Minor League Contracts: ML Contracts will now be under the following criteria: ML Players will have a ***** (*****) contract and will go into ML status upon their first major league AB or IP. After this occurs, the player's contract will become a $0.1 (ML) contract. The player is free to move between the ML, active, and reserve part of an owner's roster until that player reached 250 IP or 650 AB. Over 650 AB or 250 IP= Force promotion into active roster or release into FA pool. This is done automatically regardless of the time at which the threshold is reached. The player will automatically become a (1) regardless of what part of the year it occurs. The player is also no longer eligible to be moved into your ML roster. MLB CONTRACTS A contract assigned to a player after the draft or a player currently in ML status who has been awarded a contract. The second year of a MLB contract where the player can be retained at his (1) value. The third year of a MLB contract where the player can be retained at 20% more than his current (2) contract. The fourth year of a MLB contract where the player can be retained at 30% more than his (3) contract. The fifth and final year of a MLB contract where the player can be retained at 40% more than his (4) contract. Any player with a (5) contract status is not eligible to retained for an additional season. Contract status for the next season will be assigned upon the submission of owner's keeper list each season. WAIVERS / TRANSACTIONS Waivers will run nightly within this league. Claimed player will become a 1.00 (5) unless they were originally won at auction. If the claimed player was drafted at auction, his contract will be what he went for in the auction draft and will automatically become a (5). Hence, he cannot be retained the following year. They would then retain the price they won at auction and be given a (5). If a claimed player qualifies as a ML player, they will be issued a ***** (*****). Waiver claim order to start the season will be based on a random draw using FFToolBox. Transaction are limited to 100 adds per team. There is no limit to the number of trades or drops that can be completed. 4. First person to sign up and pay will be given the spot. We are a league with returning owners that has been running for multiple years. All financial transactions are done through League Safe and require a majority approval vote at the end of the season. If you are interested, e-mail me at the address found below. Here are the league settings and our constitution. Thanks. ntro The league will be a 12 TM 9 Category Roto League. Please familiarize yourself with the settings/rules that can be found below. If you have any questions concerning the rules or are interested in an invite to the league, please feel free to contact me by e-mail. Here are some miscellaneous rules / comments about the league. I am actually pretty laid back and like to have fun with these leagues but it is always better to get ahead of any of these problems. If you have any issues with the following, please don't join. The Draft The draft is scheduled to take place 7:00 P.M. CST on Sunday October 15. You are allowed 1:30 to select your pick. I will not be going back if you accidentally pick the wrong player or lose your connection. Therefore, I recommend doing pre-draft rankings of your players, checking your systems compatibility with the draft software, etc. Entry Fee The entry fee for this league is $200. We will do all payments via League Safe. The link to make your payment for this league is https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/3853098. I am allowing people to pay by credit card. There will be a 4% fee from LeagueSafe added to all entry fees so your total cost will end up being $208. If you would like to pay by echeck online and skip this fee, please let me know and I can switch over the system for you. You must be paid by the deadline of 10/9/17 or you will be removed from the league and replaced. No exceptions will be made. Payouts (100%) 1st - $1,100 2nd - $700 3rd - $400 4th - $200 Trade Vetoing / Accidental Drops All trades will be processed unless there is some obvious collusion taking place. Everyone will always have their opinion on which side "won a trade". I believe each team has a right to run their team as they see fit. Therefore, only trades that are obvious collusion will be vetoed. This will be left up to my judgement. You are more than welcome to e-mail me or post on the message board if you feel a deal is collusion to help me arrive to a decision. Finally, it is your responsibility to handle all of your add/drops with caution. In the age of cell phones, the inevitable "accidental" drop argument seems to always pop up. I will not restore any players dropped to the original owner's roster. There are multiple steps that take place in order to complete an add/drop so it is up to you to ensure this does not happen. We will be using LeagueSafe.com to handle our league finances this season. I currently have the site set to Echeck (electronic transfer from your bank). This option is free. We also have the option to let you use your credit card on LeagueSafe. This option has a 3% fee that LeagueSafe charges you. If you would like to use this option, please notify me and I will switch over the site to allow you to use it. I have set the deadline to buy in for 8/25/17. I would like for us all to be bought in before this deadline. Anyone not bought in after the deadline will be replaced. Our LeagueSafe is set for majority approval at the end of the season. Once the season concludes, each owner will receive an e-mail asking you to approve how payments are allocated. The vote will require a majority approval for money to be disbursed. I added this feature for transparency and trust in our league. You should have already received an e-mail invite to pay via LeagueSafe but I have also provided the link below if you did not receive it. https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/3841815/auction-amigos If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
