Should I punt saves with only two closers?

Recommended Posts

So I missed my draft a few weeks before the season, and didn't really get much in terms of starting pitching.

I'm seriously considering punting saves with only Soria and Lindstrom as my closers, but it's a little risky as I might be taking a hit in not only saves, but also K/9.

Also, I have a glut of reasonably good position-player trading chips available on my bench (especially OFs): I probably won't be able to deal Conor Jackson in his current form, but I have Ortiz, Loney, Burrell, Aviles and Bradley available.

My staff looks a little shaky so far: Oswalt, Hamels, Cain, Volstad, Jimenez, Porcello and I think I want to add a couple more pitchers to it.

So do I trade away my closers along with some of my other guys to try and get another starter? And should I work on trying to buy-low on someone like Nolasco, Baker or Liriano?
