Scoring AVG Regular Bye Stacked

Stacked Teams 96.20 88.64 72.36

I did have a team win their stack week 86.22-33.36 against an opponent who hadn't updated his roster in weeks. My team achieved 86 using all its bench players plus a free agent QB, while still having an empty WR position. The real hero story was another stacked team in that same league who had won his week 4 matchup 97-93 with Peyton, Lynch, Julius, & E. Sanders on bye.

Week 10, I couldn't field a complete team- I went without a kicker because I had so many guys on bye that I didn't want to drop, and I had to drop Decker just to pick up a RB (at the time he was just coming off a 21 pt game, so difficult to do at the time though in retrospect it worked out OK) and I didn't want to drop Gostkowski to pick up some fill-in kicker.

I ended up losing by about 50 points, but my team remained strong for the other weeks. I think it worked out OK.

i really like the first team yo posted. spiller, tate and benjamin went super late. the last team looks nice too. leveon bell dropped to the fourth for you which is real nice. what site are you using? are you drafting with random public leagues?

You nailed the best teams. Here were the final regular season stats:

Week 14 (Final) Update

W-LRecord Regular Bye Stacked

Stacked Teams 13-6 19-13 2-2

Control Teams 8-2 15-3 n/a

Scoring AVG Regular Bye Stacked

Stacked Teams 100.28 94.50 73.92

Control Teams 89.58 87.04 n/a

Overall there was no evidence of stacked teams having an advantage. Control teams were 1-for-2 in making the playoffs, including a 14-0 team (LabRat4). Stacked teams were 2-for-4 in making the playoffs, including a 13-1 team (LabRat1). All teams had at least 5 wins.

Just goes to show you that fantasy sports are mostly luck

With football, I totally agree. I would say 95% of your success comes from player health, strength of schedule, and whether or not your #1 pick busts. Baseball is much more labor intensive and rewards perseverance. I would say baseball H2H is 75% luck and roto 50%. In roto you could practically sort the teams by number of transactions and get the final standings.
