Rotoworld's blurb 'consistency'

In fairness, he did miss a fair amount of games, and his erratic scoring totals and low FG% doesn't help his cause either. I wouldn't have cut him, but some impatient owners may have. It's not as outrageous as you think though, considering he is an anchor in a key area (FG%).

its pretty outrageous

kcp fg% volume is still better than wall, gasol, kemba, lillard, melo, hood ect.

anyways i got a good chuckle when i read it

I think he'll begin to play better again now that the jail stint is over with. He was pretty brutal during that time.

E'Twaun Moore

Sun, Jan 14 Points and triples, that’s what Moore does, but he typically doesn’t bring much else to the box score.

Mon, Jan 8 Moore stands out with his ability to score in other ways, while chipping in enough boards, assists and defensive stats to make up for off-shooting nights

:D

Lou Will's line  last night, 31/3/9. Roto's blurb on him last night...

"Lou Williams finished with a game-high 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting in Monday's 113-102 victory against the Rockets.

Williams hit 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point line while chipping in with six rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots over 40 minutes."

No idea where they got the 6 boards, 2 dimes and 2 blocks from, whoops.

Lou Williams hit 8-of-16 shots for 20 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 30 minutes of Monday's win over the Nets.

He didn't hit a 3-pointer after hitting four in each of his previous two games, but the minutes are there, he's happy in L.A. and he should continue to be a big part of what they do going forward. Make sure he's not available in your league.

Comical, just like the guy below.

yesterday

The key is that Richardson's minutes haven't changed at all with the arrival of Dwyane Wade and he should be locked and loaded for a big finish to the season.

today

The arrival of Dwyane Wade isn't good for J-Rich

Jarrett Allen

He continues to see the clutch minutes and he's seen at least 23 in each of the four games since the break. He's locked and loaded as a must-start player. Mar 2

Jarrett Allen was plagued by foul trouble on Sunday (HE WAS NOT)

Today

We give up. He was showing serious signs of life, scoring 18, 13 and 15 points in three straight with solid boards and some blocks, then disappeared in his last two games,He wasn't in foul trouble in either game, Allen is not a must-start player right now, and he's barely clinging to must-own status.

Seriously? 2 bad games and you drop him, DJ ate a rookie and one a bad matchup? I understand if its 2nd round of your playoffs, but if you are playing on yahoo you start the playoffs next week,. Im sure Donnovan mitchell and richardson got dropped with these kind of blurbs, must do research and gather as many opinions as possible. if there is anyone BETTER available in your 12 team, yes do it, but you can't be dropping hastily like that 14 teams and below

Last I checked, the Knicks season finale is April 11th.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's season finale vs. Cleveland.

This means we're going to see a lot of Damyean Dotson again. In his last two games, the rookie is averaging 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.5 triples. Frank Ntilikina will also play all the minutes he can handle and Trey Burke will pick up some of the slack on offense.

I was in this exact situation.  Justin had his moments this year regardless.

Who wrote this blurb man lol...

Andre Ingram, a 32-year-old math tutor who has played 384 games in the NBA's minor leagues over the last 10 years, made his NBA debut on Tuesday night off the Lakers bench and caught fire early, finishing with 19 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers on 6-of-8 shooting in 29 minutes.

His wife and kids were on hand, he made some huge shots and looked like he belonged, and the whole story was nothing short of miraculous and inspirational, even though we may never hear from him again. It's too bad more teams don't give minor-league journeymen opportunities like this, as it was a blast to watch, as opposed to some of the other silly-season stuff we've been subjected to over the last month. Congratulations on your big night, Andre. It was awesome. And props to Magic Johnson and the Lakers for making it happen. He's probably not done done yet, as the Lakers play the Clippers in Wednesday's meaningless finale, but it's hard to imagine him playing that well again on Wednesday night

this warrants reviving this thread -

The Pistons will decline the fourth-year option of Henry Ellenson, according to Chris Hayes of Yahoo Sports.

Despite being a former No. 1 overall pick by the Pistons, this is not surprising. After two disappointing seasons to start his career, Ellenson has fallen out of the rotation completely in Detroit. He didn't make his season debut until the Pistons got blown out by the Celtics on Saturday.

Former No. 1 overall pick????????? He was pick # 18.

Steve Alexander, October 24, 2018:

“Nemanja Bjelica is starting at PF and had 10 points, two boards, three assists and a 3-pointer, and has been playing well. But as soon as they decide that Bagley needs to start, Bjelica is going to bench, so I’m not messing with him. The Kings have to start Bagley sooner than later. They just have to.”

Steve Alexander, October 31, 2018:

My man Nemanja Bjelica had another killer night and should be owned everywhere.”

Devin Booker made 4-of-12 from the field for 12 points with one rebound, seven assists, two steals, four turnovers and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Pelicans during a 119-99 loss on Saturday.

He was locked down on defense by Wes Johnson and Booker put up easily his lowest usage rate on the season at 20.7 -- it was 26.5 against Toronto on Nov. 2. Booker has been a usage monster in all but two games with at least a 32.6, and his efficiency is improved while he's growing as a passer. He'll be putting up big numbers, especially if the Suns can continue to play teams close.

Lol please. If they really watched the game, it was Jrue Holiday locking Booker's a** up.

Part 2

Steve Alexander, November 5, 2018:

"Nemanja Bjelica finally had a bad game. He hit just 2-of-8 shots for four points and four rebounds, and didn’t hit a 3-pointer for just the second time this season. The Kings were down big all night and I’m still not worried about Bjelica."

Steve Alexander, November 13, 2018:

"Nemanja Bjelica played 27 minutes and hit 4-of-5 shots and 3-of-3 3-pointers for 11 points, six rebounds and a steal. He’s really cooled off, but one of his threes was a late dagger and I’m just going to hang in there with him for at least two more games. But the return of Bogdanovic has me a little worried."

Just can’t seem to make up his mind! What’s the matter, Steve? I thought Bjelica was YOUR MAN! Only giving him two more games?

How about this gem! Jason Collins is back!!!!!!

Jason Collins hit 7-of-14 shots, a 3-pointer and 5-of-6 3-pointers for 20 points, 13 rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Wizards.
He was in foul trouble tonight, or the minutes would have been higher, and Collins is on a tear right now. He's double-doubled in nine of his last 11 games and came into this one averaging 23.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers on 79 percent shooting from the floor, and 67 percent shooting from the line in the month of December. He's more than living up to the hype, so congratulations are in order if you drafted him and were able to stick with him through the foot injury that caused him to miss the first 15 games of the season.

ooops

Updating a previous item, JaKarr Sampson will not be signing with the Bulls.

It looks like there was a mix up with the Sampsons here, so 76ers fans may not get to enjoy Point Karr on another team. He could rejoin the NBA at some point this season

A few hours later after a nice game with 14/8 and 2 blocks:

Theis is just a borderline big man in most formats.
