You guys are wasting your time. Even if Brady spends the next 5 years going 19-0 there's gonna be people saying that Brock Osweiller could have done the it too and that Peyton Manning would have led the same team to a win over the Monstars from Space Jam and then vanquished Voldemort.

Peyton in his 4 postseason games in 06 when he won a SB had 3TD-7INT, including 1TD and 2 turnovers in the SB

Peyton last year in the SB had 141 yards, 0TD, 2 Turnovers (obviously on the decline but still)

Stop.

If Brady does as well under another coach/system then I'll buy it a bit more.  If he fails without Belichick, or Belichick succeeds again with a scrub QB, it tarnishes Brady a bit more vs Peyton Manning.

Yeah, Brady under a defense-background HC has had the same OC his entire career....oh, wait.

LMAO!

Patriots lost the Super Bowl in 1996 with Parcells, hired Pete Carroll and got worse every year. They went 8-8 in 1999 and 5-11 in 2000. It's not revisionist history on my end, it's you not knowing history. Also, just because a team was good one year doesn't mean they are good the next. With free agency and the salary cap, players move on. Or did Brady still have Curtis Martin and Ben Coates like Bledsoe had in 1996 when they went to the Super Bowl? You're so off base here it's hilarious.

The division was loaded in '99 and 00.  You had the Parcells/Groh Jets, Manning on the Colts, Marino on the Dolphins (in 99) and the  Flutie/Rob Johnson Bills. The Pats were good back then, even if their record didn't reflect it in '00 take a look at their roster especially on defense.

Stop it. Belicheck is a genius at adapting and innovating and always putting his team in a position to win regardless of personnel and the opponent. He has done this year in and year out.

If you thought he was such an offensive genius, your team (Jets) should have tried harder to keep him.

BB was a HC for 6 yrs with middling offenses until Brady became his QB. Then he became an offensive genius...

Really. Tell me about how he did so in 1991, 92, 93, 94, 95, and 2000 as an NFL HC before Brady became his QB...if you were even following the NFL back then.

I wasn't in their front office back then.

Whatever, if you want to argue that Belichick has nothing to do with Brady's success feel free to continue digging that hole.

Nope, he became  HC genius and you have seen it on both sides of the ball and in personell decsions expecially. taking underutilized and cheap players and having them perform above expectations.

Genius

Tom Brady is The GOAT of dumping his low income pregnant ex-gf as he was dating and eventually married a super model worth $400mm.

I asked a buddy of mine lifelong Browns fan and his view is that  belicheck was a good coach took over a non-competitive Browns team and made them competitive winning a playoff game.  Also he went through a massive learning curve on how to be a NFL HC when he was with the Browns. He thinks the negative media influence is what is primarily responsible for him being fired and if he stayed he would have  been able to take the team to the next level.

I would love to hear your views on Belicheck aside from Tom Brady was his savior.

Pretty sure you're being sarcastic but his low income pregnant ex-gf is worth $25M, so he knows how to pick them regardless.

Her net worth is probably closer to  $10 -15mm but when Giselle makes   $40-50mm YEAR then that makes ur ex low income by comparision.

Either way I agree he picks them well but he upgraded in a major way just like a female golddigger. . .

Think anyone who says Brady would suck without Belichick, or the other way around, doesn't get it.

Here are the facts:

- Pre-Brady, Belichick was nowhere close to being the coaching genius he is today, and definitely NOT one of the greatest coaches of all time.

- Pre-Belichick, Brady was draft pick #199, and definitely NOT one of the greatest QBs of all time.

What we know is that it was an average coach coupling with an average QB, and them clicking, to turn into something great. You don't get to take points from either's legacy because of the presence of the other, cause we just don't know. So stop trying.

They're both great, arguably the greatest at their positions.

Tom Brady  in 07' had by far the best passing offense of the last 22 years

Matt Cassel the next year the 272nd ranked passing offense of the last 22 years

Please tell me more about how Brady is strictly a system QB?

Brady has played 92% of his games outdoors (185 of 202)

Manning has played 49% of his games outdoors (122 of 248)

Brady in a dome: 67.4%, 8.64 YPA, 6.9% TD, 2.62% INT, 106.42 rating

Manning in a dome: 66.16%, 7.8 YPA, 6.1% TD, 2.4% INT, 99.72 rating

Brady outdoors: 63.15%, 7.35 YPA, 5.39% TD, 1.93% INT, 95.28 rating

Manning outdoors: 64.97%, 7.62 YPA, 5.66% TD, 2.63% INT, 95.83 rating

Also, people fail to mention Peyton had Tony Dungy and IND had one of the best defenses in the league for a few years in the mid 2000s.
