T.J. Yeldon 2017 Season Outlook

well bortles isn't exactly gonna light up the sky with TD's, so it could be close

I agree it'll be a close game. Bortles isnt gonna have much success against a really good defense with a stout secondary. It's the same situation Dalton is in.

i don't, titans scored like 37 on them

Titans are in their division and know how to play them. They've also allowed teams to put up less than 10 points against them 4 times already this season. And the Bengals rushing offense is terrible, which is Jax's only weakness. Andy's not going to moving anything through the air today.

Don't get me wrong, I'm starting Yeldon today out of desperation and hoping for a favorable game script, but if you're counting on this being the 2015 Jags and them being down 20 points in the 4th quarter you're just way off base.

What % of the workload is Yeldon expected to get now that Fournette is injured?

He's benched, not injured. None of us know.

I pay attention every year. You're one of those people that judges REAL football by fantasy numbers. Cincy can put up points against this defense especially when the Jags are going to be unable to move the ball consistently when Bortles is forced to play QB and not just hand the ball off.

You see what I did there? I supported my claim unlike your troll response.

Last time Fournette was out, the offense had absolutely no trouble leaning on Ivory and Yeldon.

But keep living in that make believe world.

In real football the Jags D just acquired a brand new shiny piece for their run D in addition to already having the scariest pass rush in the league. In addition to an already stout secondary. Couple that with Cincy's horrific O line and I think you'd understand.

Nothing "troll" about my post at all, buddy.

Of course, and I don't doubt that the Bengals could win the game, but I find it extremely doubtful that the Bengals have to ability to blow them out so bad that they'll be down by more than a touchdown

well it helped that AJ Green got thrown out of the game....

What do you guys think of his value in deeper PPR leagues ROS?

I mean standalone value, assuming Fournette stays health.

Exactly what I'm saying...can't start with Leo playing and when Leo isn't can't rely on what he'll do...

Well now Leo didn't practice today and this:

According to Florida Football Insiders, Leonard Fournette's ankle is "still not right," and he could be limited if he plays this week against the Browns.

T.J. Yeldon played 36.9% of the snaps last week against the Chargers. Fournette was in on 53.9% of the downs. Fournette, however, was nonexistent in the fourth quarter before coming back out for overtime. Chris Ivory played eight snaps. Fournette was downgraded to DNP on Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday. If he does play, we could be in for a similar Fournette-Yeldon split, and if the rookie sits, expect Yeldon and Ivory to split the load. Fournette is looking like a risky RB2 if he suits up and merely a DFS tournament play.

the weather conditions seem to favor Ivory if Fournette sits

Not really. The browns are solid against the run so I would imagine there will be a lot of dump off passes to Yeldon.
