Alex Len 2017 - 2018 Season Outlook

Recommended Posts

Guys. Stay put and observe the whole situation especially in a league with 2 center spots where he is number three on your roster. There is a buyout chance for Monroe and shut down or trade opportunity for Chandler. He just needs 25 minutes to be productive defensively. Don't drop that dude too quickly.

They could cut Monroe and trade Chandler yet they’ll still manage to play him 20 mpg.

Couldn't care less about all of them misses.   He has one simple job for me. Rebound the f*cking ball from a center unlike 75% of the NBA centers and he did that. Good job, Len.

I am optimistic about Len and Collins. I see the potential and the glass ceiling that will hopefully crack in the near future.

From Monroe's Rotoworld blurb:

"Greg Monroe and the Suns have not yet begun to discuss a buyout, as Phoenix will first explore trade possibilities, according to Adrian Wojnarowski‏ of ESPN.

Advice: Whether the Suns quickly flip Monroe in another deal or resort to buying him out, "it is unlikely partnership extends through the end of the season," according to Wojnarowski. From a Phoenix perspective, this trade was merely about ‏adding a future first-round pick and ridding themselves of the disgruntled Bledsoe. Monroe was attractive in large part because he is an expiring contract. This is good news for the fantasy value of both Tyson Chandler and Alex Len."

tl;dr: Stay put!

Weird situation for Len owners. On one end, you have them pretty open to moving Monroe/buying him out...however Suns also expressing interest in Okafor...which again complicates things. One big in, one big out? All while Chandler is still chillin in the mix lol.

Why the hell do the Suns always get themselves in these positional logjams. First the PG situation couple years back, now this.

Weren't they a playoff team or a playoff contender with the 3 pg's though?

I have a feeling if they trade for Okafor, then Chandler or Chriss MUST be involved as part of the trade. No Sixers center mess.

I don't understand why either team would want to trade bigs, as both already have logjams.

Thanks Alex for making the most of your start.  You have just ensured your role of 20 minutes per game.  This why they have not turned over the keys to him, he can't handle it.

Definitely a wasted opportunity to prove himself as a starter.

Whiteside isn't the easiest matchup but no excuses. Have to shine when given the shot.
