But before that he had 5 useless games. Hes not ready to contribute consistently imo. Still too raw

I agree, but if there isn't a better alternative on the waiver wire, you could do worse.

Contrary to what sour owners in this thread think, he's a highly coveted player.

I've gotten offers from four different owners for him in one league.

What would you be getting?

I picked him up after 5 blocks, but also had a waiver claim on Favors that got him off my team before playing a game for me haha

Good luck!

Booker and Warren are easily their best offensive players. No one else is even close on that team. This has more to do with Chriss being immature, inconsistent, and simply not being a very good NBA player yet. He could be eventually...but he is a long ways off.

You gotta look at the positives in this game. He had only one foul and played more than 25 minutes. Plus, he gave you 2 blocks and 7 rebounds, which isn't so bad.

Just be patient with his ups and downs because unless you're in a 10 team or less league, you're not getting his upside off the waiver wire.

Eh, depends on the league I guess.  Henson was available for a while even in my 12-teamers, as was Favors.  In terms of upside, Noel has just as much and honestly, he's not too far from what Chriss was contributing a week ago, lol. (joking)

I do agree with you though.  2 blocks and 7 boards was nice, and the foul trouble wasn't there.

If he had made one of those two treys, he would've had a 7/7/1/2 line on passable 3/7 shooting, which would've made him a solid contributor rather than a mere stash in my book.

On the bright side, he does have 3 more games this week, and they're cupcake matchups, so might as well hang on.

If he didn't have C eligibility I would've dropped the dude a long time ago. That's pretty much the only thing that's keeping me from dropping him not this mythical 'Upside'.

Beginning of the season he had a 1-1-1 'Upside', now after just 1 steal in 7 games, he has 'Elite 3's and Blocks' UPSIDE. Wonder what's next. Block specialist perhaps. Should've swapped him for Dedmon or Henson when I had the chance, but me like many others was blinded by this UPSIDE too.

I'm in keeper so I have a little more motivation to hold for the long term. He's only 20 he's still developing and trying to create good habits on a bad team/organization. They need a proper coach tbh.

I too must admit that the PF/C eligibility is perhaps the greatest motivating factor for my ongoing patience in concert with my barebones WW. Nevertheless, I see the diamond in the rough, which gives a glimmer of hope that he just might right the ship.

I'm not sure if I should keep holding him. Dinwiddie is out there, and I need assists. But Tyson Chandler is also out there, and I lost RB's in the McCollum trade. All Chriss contributes consistently is blocks at this point, and I'm 14 blocks above the rest of my league (points league). So at this point, I'm not sure he's worth holding.

in a points league he is definitely not worth holding. category leagues 12+ he should be held because, even at his worst, at least he is providing strong blocks and some 3s. we are all hoping for a breakout where he starts averaging 12 and 7+ with blocks and 3s but it it might not happen (if it ever does) until 2nd half of season, and also depending on whether chandler and/or monroe are moved or bought out

I'm holding onto him for now. He's shown signs of life this month, maybe he'll start to get it going again. With C eligibility, you could do worse than him.

Less 90 seconds into the game and he fouls cp3 at 3 pt. attempt. Wtf? Stop being so dumb.

Correction, 2 fouls now. I figured I would pick him up because he is playing 3 games in the next 4 days. What a P.O.S.

3rd foul now, in 5 mins on the court - he either really isn't bothered today, or has terrible timing with his block attempts.

I'm done. His body language is awful, and he acts disinterested most of the time. I tried to be patient, but I'm done. I scooped up Monroe.

Lol. I'm running out of words on how bad this dude is.  What a waste of a pick.
