Dez re-tweeted this, he is thinking about this

The Browns could definitely use him as roster depth since their wr room is minus 3 since the offseason, makes you wonder what the decisive factors are. money, role, contract clauses, talent?

I honestly think he is done playing but we will see

There is no Way! He looked way better than Brandon Marshall last season and Marsh is still playing!

He wants a starting role guaranteed...... so he can "prove" he still is a good WR so then he can get a bigger contract.  He turned down 3/21 from the Ravens.  Probably never going to get anywhere near that type of deal although probably not much guaranteed.  Every week he stays out, percentages drop he'll play this year.... or ever again.

And by taking that position, what Dez is saying is that his role and his success are paramount, and what is best for the team and winning games is secondary.

And I wonder why he hasn't been hired yet.

Dez and Mayfield could be a nice connection for fantasy football purposes. Too bad Dez is busy slammin' back boners.

The last thing Baker needs is Dez demanding the ball even when he isn't open. Not sure why they ever brought Dez in to begin with.

If he was worth a roster spot why hasn't (any) NFL team signed him yet?

He's not a very good WR.

Bad hands, runs sloppy routes, cries for the ball, is not exceptionally fast and now 30 years old.  He was a great prospect coming into NFL because of his size etc but he pretty much squandered it and after Romo left that was his best bet for a big contract.

Maybe he should take lessons from Brandon Marshall on what a "prove it" deal is.  Marshall had just $90K guaranteed on his $1.1 million deal with these incentives thrown in on top:

Reception Incentives:
40-49: $75,000
50-59: $125,000
60-69: $250,000
70+: $350,000

Yards Incentives:
500-599: $75,000
600-699: $125,000
700-799: $250,000
800+ $350,000

7+ TD: $350,000
