Gotta assume if/when Melancon is healthy enough to go back to back games he'll be closing full time. Well it wasn’t a save situation anyway....

Those are great numbers, his 23 hits over that same time and the inability to limit the damage is however an issue. Indeed. Minter is good.

My Dinner With Andre 5,681
Lol the closer thread is starting to remind me of a game of whack-a-mole A guy gets a save, you pick him up, a day later he makes an appearance in the 7th inning. Then you pick up the guy that gets the save in his stead, and he blows the next opp, or something like that... 2 1

k.k. 345
No save opportunity for Parker, but he seems to have evened out after a crap run of outings just a little while ago. Considering Anderson's bad outing the other night, and Bedrosian still sucking, got to think Parker is grabbing back hold of the reins here for LAA saves moving forward. That said, seems indeed like the LAA situation remains a bit whack-a-mole too, like My Dinner With Andre suggests in general.

Hosmer was poor with the glove today. The HBP was terrible but happens. But the 0-2 pitch to Pence was the compounding of that mistake and can't happen after the hbp.
