gill2k 269
Dodged a bullet with the 1-2 weeks. Phew! Also this bit from Shams...
misterj 169
Alright so here's my initial glass half-full reaction. He's been playing a ton of minutes this season, and given his history he was probably due for a minor something at some point. So now he's sprained his finger, which is about as minor as an injury gets. 2 weeks off, in which he'll still be able to keep his cardio up, and then he comes back in good condition yet refreshed from not playing 37mpg for that time. I think this could turn out to be a saving grace if it makes him less likely to get something like a knee or back problem over the next couple months, but I guess we'll see. Sucks for the short term, but hopefully the longterm outlook is good.

Jimmy21 29
I was at the game and I was joking to my buddy "look he broke a fingernail and now hes going to go to the locker room." Now he curses me. I have one of my biggest matchups next week
Jimmy21 29
Anyone know of anyone on the waivers thatll give me 37 and 15 and 3 blocks and 2 steals? 1
FantasyBallFan 472
That report from shams is extremely worrying for me. There have been no reports of him doing an MRI yet theyve ruled him out 1-2 weeks and might see a hand specialist? It sounds like theyre just hoping for the best instead of doing an MRI to find out the severity immediately.

While not making the playoffs this season will make it likely he won't sign the contract, they pretty much have to at least wait and see if he does. You are right that they are pretty much screwed, even if it is only for 4-8 games (don't feel like looking and counting).

Messed up trying to quote both into one post, but anyways... Okafor will probably get the most minutes out of the two because he's pretty much been the backup C/PF (especially when Mirotic was out). Still, the most likely scenario is Mirotic and Randle play as many minutes as they can, leaving not very worthwhile scraps for the rest. At least initially since they have little choice but to go all-in with their best players to try to stay afloat while Davis is out. Don't remember hearing hand specialist in the case of any sprained finger, but this is coming from Rich Paul.
Quazza 2,244
So for me that's picks 1 (AD) 2(CP3) 3(capella ) and Covington as we speak. Throw in Otto, Mirotic and Teague and i can't remember a season quite like it really
mas10 269
What’s the chances he returns this seasonal you guys reckon? Have a feeling in 3-4 days he will seek a specialist, then it will be he requires surgery and he will be out for the season. Just have this funny feeling that’s what will happen? Well, if AD can stay healthy, then fantasy will be too easy - all you have to do is win the #1 pick then lol

You might as well just trade your whole team because they all might get hurt and seek a specialist and then get surgery. Maybe that will ease your concerns since you seem to be thinking the worst at every turn. 1 hour ago, littlesamtung said: Another 1-2 losing weeks might force NO to consider a hugh trade. Doubt it. RipCity0 701
It would be stupid business decision to trade him now. They need the bidding war with the Celtics right in there so as to get max return. Now it's only the Lakers to negotiate with.

You're correct. He still has one year contract left. I always thought this is his last year besides his player option.
