Raheem Mostert 2018 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Breida is a game-time decision with his knee issue and Alfred Morris also has a knee issue for the 49ers possibly opening up playing time for Mostert this week.

He is 5'10" and about 200 lbs and looked good/explosive in the preseason with the carries that he was given.  Beathard at qb looks to be a problem but does anyone else think

that Mostert could surprise if the other 2 guys are limited/can't go?

Last year it was Jimmy G that turned their season around. Maybe in 2018 it will be this Mozart fella.

If this guy duked it out with DeLance Turner it would be a 0-0 tie

yeah, but ... Collins/Buck are both healthy atm - Alf/Breida aren't.

we've seen many instances over the years in magick foosball of oportunity trumping all other variables.

i mean, someone has to absorb the missing touches for SF ... amirite?

If you look at it the right way, this guy’s name is pronounced “Must-Start”

Likely that their FB gets more touches before this guy

JuicyStick gets his scripted touches regardless, but he's not gonna log 10+ carries.

Been a pro for a couple years. Undrafted. 26 years old. Was cut by the Bears in 2016. Don't hold your breath on this guy doing much.

I watched him in college as he's a Boilermaker. Came out of HS as a WR, and mostly was a KR specialist until his Sr season when he got work as an RB with almost 900 scrimmage yards between rushing/receiving. BLAZING speed. Was also a track star. Won the 60m in the Big Ten championships and qualified for the NCAA championships in track.

As a KR specialist, and with his track pedigree, you know what you're getting. Someone who is electric in space, and has home run potential, but isn't going to be your every-down bruiser.

If you've got bench space, you might consider taking this guy as a flier. Don't think he's startable even as flex even in relatively deep leagues. More of a stash guy in case the loss of McKinnon and in case Breida/Morris end up with lingering injuries.

Breida remains heavily involved but he might have done enough to phase out Morris. The Shanny scheme is known to make fantasy studs out of complete JAGs and nobodies. Breida has been really banged up his entire career. Could be a very good pickup.

morris was getting more rz touches than breida. if mostert takes those too he has standard value but whenever breida is healthy you can't start this guy. necessary cuff though.

He’s a very good stash. Morris isn’t good and Breida is extremely injury prone. He flashed potential and if Breida is out you get a free solid RB.

Nope-  but there’s a lot of potential if they don’t sign another back.    You can’t tell me Breida makes it 10 more weeks at this rate.

It is a bit worrying to me that his production came again Green Bay, an awful defense. I’m so tempted to stash him but I feel like information is very limited on this dude other than the game Monday night, where he took Morris’ job.
