Oh wow. Klentak got away without including an additional high prospect like Bohm, Hasley, and Moniak. Very good

im a yankee fan and my childhood idol was derek jeter

but DJ is really not doing to well with this GM thing.

he basically got Sixto Sanchez for Yelich, Stanton, Realmuto, Ozuna

Well that's not exactly accurate! But considering the contracts of all those guys he clearly got fleeced badly on Yeli (which it looked like immediately and only has more terrible optics now)...ok on Ozuna and just prob did well to dump the Stanton money. It is kinda odd that this JTR return looks like the best of all--at least compared to that Yeli swap.

i get stanton was a salary dump, but yelich was awful...and ozuna had a bad shoulder last year, but was coming off a 300/30/100 year and was under control.  you need to get a top 25 guy for that.  even realmuto, as someone mentioned above.  2 years for the best catcher in baseball (sorry gary sanchez) should probably net you sixto plus another top 50 guy

Sixto Sanchez, Jorge Alfaro, Will Stewart, and an international bonus slot.

Boy, love seeing Will Stewart as that third name, and not even a fourth player. This is a great deal. I'll miss Sixto, but JT is gonna be awesome in CBP.

Now bring on Harper!

I love how the Marlins took a hard line with the Braves and basically said “no Acuna, no Yelich” and then turned around and took Milwaukee’s offer. The Braves have one of the best farm systems in the league! Even without the benefit of hindsight now that we know Brinson isn’t living up to his former top prospect billing, how was it not worth weighing Pache, Riley and/or all those pitchers against what Milwaukee gave them? Stubborness?

Good for the Phillies but bad for my one dynasty teams that had Alfaro and Sixto.  How far do their values fall now in fantasy leagues?

Sixto probably doesn't fall too far. I think Alfaro's value is basically tanked at this point though.

I think it's great for Sixto. That's one of the best pitching parks in the league but I'd worry about his MLB arrival date...I think Marlins will push back his service time as much as possible with how long it's going to take them to be competitive.

Only because some people were floating the theory they did this because they struck out on the big 2. Realmuto is making 5.8 mil this year. Shouldn't slow them down

That park factor alone should have his dynasty owners going Six-to-midnight :)

The MLB is officially changing the DL to IL. The big change everybody has wanted for years.

What is IL?  Short for "ill" maybe, heh.

Probable for 2 years with a "shoulder" injury. Good times, good times.
